Lot of youth on this team. That might explain some of the issues of holding 2 goals leads in the WCHA (a man's league).

Down in the Cities we'll have to see if Charter does this game. They have done some in the past.

I took that to mean he was going to physically be back in the area, not necessarily on the team.

We're pretty lucky to get to watch guys like Toews, Oshie, Parise, etc. We're just as lucky to get to watch guys like Mario.

The Sicatoka is right. We have no right to expect the SR tribal council to act on issues important to the university in the timetable of the University and the nickname supporters. This isn't really their fight. It's the fight of the nickname supporters. Whatever support we get from the tribes, and hopefully the tribal councils is good fortune. Let's hope for the best but have low attachment to their actions because this isn't their biggest problem.

From what I've read around here, in Standing Rock they can't just decide to hold a referendum forced by a petition of the people. Sounds like the Tribal Council needs to decide to hold the referendum and if the council doesn't want to do that, they don't have to do that. So it might not be as easy to get done as we'd like or hope.

Not only that but the tv is tape delayed until tomorrow, and the radio is DELAYED until 9pm tonite. If you're not in the building you're screwed for at least a couple hours. That just sucks.

I keep getting a message I need to download a plugin for RealPlayer on Firefox but it continues to fail. I've installed the latest version of RP but still no luck. Can't get it to work on IE either for some reason.

Watching the MN game was surprised at how little hitting their seemed to be. Did the teams want to contain the spread of Gwoz's swine flu? Unless, of course, Captain Lucia needed to hit another guy after the whistle who was just standing near the goalie. I guess they learned how to be tough in MN this summer.

Speaking of the atmosphere, did I really hear they played "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond, and the crowd chanted along with it? I almost puked. I don't know where that started but it makes me think of St. Cloud and Mankato and please, can't we do something a little more unique? Barf.

Never understood the need to end with "shxx". Back in the mid-80's when I was in school it was just "Who's he he sucks" and frankly that's more rhythmic anyway. Not sure that originated in the cities, unless adding the shxx did, but that was a poor bastardization.
