I believe his first name is Tyler but his last name is not Johnson. I can't believe I broke my rule to ignore this guy.

I can copy it for you but my equipment ain't exactly professional quality. Copies of my vcr tapes are ok at best. Well, maybe "good" according to the scale on your website. Maybe. We can talk if you want...If I had a choice it would be to get the 1987 Championship game or else the WI game with Commodore's fight on it. Which one that is I don't know. If you prefer, I would send you my original and you could dub it yourself, then you would have more control on the copy. My master is pretty decent. It's copying that doesn't work as well...

Last year the Sioux wore the black ice jerseys on the friday night playoff game at Mariucci and got their asses handed to them in a most embarrassing way. On Sat they wore the Green and dang near beat the gophs in Andy's swan song as a Sioux goalie (glad I got that one on tape). GO GREEN GO SIOUX!

I thought for a while about trying to make practice today but work schedule just didn't work well with it. I used to watch Gino's practices after class back in the day and that was always a nice time.

I'm grasping here but maybe this is a mental thing. I'm as surprised as the next guy about Marvin going as a forward and R Hale as a defenseman. But maybe there is something about the brother bond that Blais is looking to capitalize on here. Palmo hasn't got a lot of ice time but the guy has some ability. I believe he was on the 1st line that weekend which surprised us all. But to my friend and I, we were really impressed with his play on that line that night, and I was surprised to see Blais move him off that line later in the night. He made some excellent plays that nearly paid off in goals for Bo and Zach.

I just called (1:15pm) and was told that they will NOT be carrying the games this weekend. So where does THAT leave us. Like YaneA, I am hoping whoever I talked to is the new person sitting in the closet that they forgot to give the info to. I asked if there is any chance that would change and she said no. Keep calling, people.

If airmail is willing to share temporarily, should we win Friday night, this board should ALL have either that avatar or the one Sprig created earlier this season Friday night and Saturday.
-
The way I read that it is only on FC7 which is a Ferris cable network I think.
-
I don't think anyone is advocating a coaching change here. Only responding to the question posed.

Thanks jeffj. A coworker is a SCSU fan and has watched them play Ferris 2-3 times over the last 2 years. He also said they have excellent team speed. Fast and really hustle. Specifically mentioned a burner on the 3rd line that surprises everybody. On the big ice, can we play a team like that physical (effectively)?
-
That's too bad for Ryan. I know he hasn't put up a ton of points, I love his hustle and speed on the ice. I think he will be a contributor yet.
-
Greyeagle, that's pretty cool history. Bring back the Bullwinkle icon, though, will ya? I love that one.
-
Greyeagle, ever since saw your handle this is the mental image I have had. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to post it the photo here. You have to follow the link http://www.muppets.com/profiles/sam.htm

jeffj, you are over closer to the Ferris neck of the woods are you not? What can you tell us about Ferris' style of play, and about their team that leads you to your opinion? I'm curious about learning more about them before Friday, so we know what to expect. BTW, Sioux defense looked very good on Thursday night, IMO. All the guys played very well. I'm impressed with Matt Jones. He's really "quiet" on the ice. Very solid, moves well, physical. Looks very confident out there.
-
I wonder if the SiouxSports team relying on a Bison guy goaltender is similar to MN needing a Grand Forks boy to win the big one.
-
Smaller and faster. Could give the Sioux some problems on the bigger ice. Hope we got our skates on Friday. If we do, and bang them around a bit, maybe the fight will leave them by the 3rd.
-
Well, at least Blais. This was funny more than anything, but on Friday night during the Gopher game the gophers were down to mankato 2-1. They were on the PP almost right away in the 3rd period. There was dead air in the arena and I stood up and yelled "Hey Lucia, Blais would pull his goalie!". I got a couple of angry looks from down in front of me in my section. (Turns out he didn't need to pull his goalie, as they tied it up on that PP. I guess he showed me)
-
I bet nobody mixes him up with me.
-
Hey PCM, you got me! In the picture with Ryan Hale awaiting the reply decision on the goal at the very top of the picture are 3 Sioux Jerseys. A green and 2 blacks. I'm the green and the other 2 are my buddies. You got the best part of me.
-
It is possible he could be an assistant.

There should be some kind of dispensation for doing that cheer for non-hockey related events. I have been a huge gopher bb fan for many years and have attended several games. They are a serious blast. I enjoy that cheer then, but hate it in a hockey venue. You really can flip a switch. And funny, I found myself cheering against the gopher women's hockey team in their Frozen Four too.
