There were quite a number of excellent quotes that have shown up in various sources over the past few weeks. Knowing that I'd someday want to find one or two of them, others may as well. While I'll try to keep my own list, maybe people would be interested in throwing their most excellent quotes in this thread, and a year from now you might be able to find it if you are looking for it. Here are my favorites as of late

I'm only guessing but I think Kessel is a year younger than Parise was when Parise came to the Sioux. Parise had an immediate impact. From what I've read Kessel is probably a better offensive player than Parise. I think he'll have immediate impact offensively in the WCHA. And I think both Kessel and Toews accelerated their schooling? If so they're both probably the same age.

Can we have the coaches show again tonite? I want Hennessey to actually ask Hakstol a question about Toewes THAT HE CAN ANSWER!

I can't dispute any of the examples here but why not mention hockey? I would prefer to watch most Sioux hockey games in person, either at the Ralph or at places like Mariucci over most any other athletic contest named above. Heck, give me the Final Five over the Rose Bowl ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

Looks like Josh aught to read the thread here were people posted their Frozen Four experiences. Looks to me like he's quite jealous of UND's success and had to write his column to convince himself that, now that it's too late to fix his mistake, he did the right thing in leaving for Michigan. The Gerald Ford/Ralph Engelstad comparison was a very low blow, that frankly isn't even relevant. Maybe Josh would have liked going along with the team to visit Clinton in person after 2000 and take pictures.... Personally, I think all you ND residents should just email and thank the putz for leaving the state. Who needs him?
