Yea i agree, Some one needs to work with watkins on not losing draws and the sioux should move brian lee to forward because he just made a fantastic screen. On a positive note, the team got a good game from the U.S team which can only help in the future.

Observations so far: Lamaroux playing well USA talented Toews amazing Finley slammed someones head into the boards and then body slammed them into the ice. I was impressed.

Yea I skated with him and of the his Roseua buddies a few times, hes got a gun for shot. Very classy guy. Speaking of that Badgers series, a sweep there would be huge, UW hasn't been playing real well so it looks like the sioux are getting them at the right time.

It is rare to find players like Erik who are willing to except a role like his. He is a great example of a team first, me second player.

Your right I do run people/ teams down, I just don't like hearing these homers come on here and talk up their own teams and their kids. Let face it alot of the stuff on here is a flat out joke. I mean we have atleast 4 players from Grafton who wouldn't shut up about how good Grafton is and how they should be considered one of the big "3". Then we get the DL players/parents coming on here and saying how their D crop is the best in the state. You told me earlier to look at it more objectively. Look around and wake up nothing that has been said is objective. If your going to call me out for being "rude" then call out all of these homers on this site. BTW I told him to proofread because I couldn't understand what he said. You told me to proof read because I missed a letter. Then these parents/players get mad becuase I called out their team or kid that they just talked up to be the next "Great One" . I'll stop running teams/players down when these parents stop saying stuff that is down right ridiculus.

This is a player that has been a secret weapon for the sioux his whole career. He is willing to just play his role and when the other teams take him lightly he can pop in some goals. The sioux need to start recruiting more people like Fabian.

Well in this case you didn't recall correctly. 13 Gordon, Ben F 44 9 19 28 The point is if finley would have played a year or to in the U-show he wouldn't be experiancing as many growing pains as we are seeing now. The gophs have their players developt and the sioux rush them in. This pains me as a fan and I would like to see this changed.

For the last time, I said if I remember correctly: Greico is inconsistent and it will cost the team a game down the line. I said this after the SCSU and Mankato Series. And guess what happened? He took a dump on the ice in his very next period. So Yes I was being "negative" but guess what I was right. And instead if you admitting I was right you come back and start saying I'm not a Sioux fan. Also do you think the fact the Sioux keep recruiting younger and younger players has anything to with the team being inconsistent? Well if you don't you need to wake up. Why did they rush Finley in here? Why not let him play juniors for 2 years? Whats the hurry on Greico? Let him play juniors for a year or two and maybe he would have developt more consistency. The Sioux are now a "rebuilding team". Why is this exceptable to you guys as Sioux fans? I can't stand it. I hate the gophers and it pains me to say this but the Gophers are now the one's "reloading" . I'm sorry but they would have had a player of Finley or Greico calaber, (if they would have even would have recruited them in the first place) play a year or two of juniors instead of rushing them into the system. A few years ago they offered Ben Gordan a scholorship if he played a few years of juniors. if they would have rushed him in he would have struggled for two years and lost two years of eligibility, instead he played for lincoln and he limited his growing pains. It's sad but true, bringing in 17 year olds is not a good idea unless their name is Jonathon Toews.

I completely agree the state is down. There are very few goalies that are worth anything this year. This could be the weakest talent pool ive seen in a very long time.

I'm not a sioux fan because I call out a few players who are playing poorly? Sorry if I hold my favorite team, a team that I have loved since I was 3 to a higher standard. Also, I am critical of 4 players and if I don't think they are up to snuff, yes I am going to be mad because this is UND not fricken Bemidgi State or Mercyhurst. I expect them to win and I hate when they recruit players that according to you need two years to mature. Or I can't be critical of a goalie that gets lit up because he is 17. Thats BS, I can't stand to see the team losing, if these guys can't take the heat of being in a big time program pack your bags and head to Wayne State. If he needs half of his eligibilty to mature don't recruit him or atleast tell him to take a couple of years in the USHL. If you want to baby these guys thats fine, I'm sorry I don't think UND is a nursary and I'm going to call it like I see it. Sorry if I am disrupting your love fest.

Well it should have occured to you that I don't really care about a elite 2 team from 4 years ago. I never even brought them up you did. All I was trying to do was say somthing about this years team being like a jv team and then you and your dad come on here and say somthing about a team from 4 years ago. I'm sorry I should have made it more clear that my original post had nothing to do with an elite 2 team from 4 years ago. Why the **** would I be talking about them? OK here that team was GREAT happy?!? Since I was refering to only stuff from this year, Why would I be refering to a elite 2 team from 4 years ago? Do you see what I'm saying? No I didn't. Did I say you have to score goals to be a good player? No I didn't. Did I say that you have to score goals to be considered a dominant player on the ice? No I didn't. I had a problem with what he said and I backed up what I said with stats. You backed your response up with a bad joke. If your going to argue what I say do two things. I respect the play of: Radke, Toews, Oshie, Duncan, Porter, Lamaroux, Chorney, Bina, Jones, Zajac, Vande velde. Little respect for the play of: Finley, Greico, Kozek, Kiap. Neutral: everyone else I didnt mention.

Ok, to clear some stuff up. DL doesn't have good defensemen. Jamestown isn't good. Any team that lets in 5 to Jamestown is flat out bad. Jamestowns better goalie is still bad. Elite 2 hockey is the equivelent of JV hockey. Kyle Everson will never play Junior A hockey. North is brutal. Grafton has shaky defenseman and a bad goaltender. The West is worse then ever. WF is terrible. Minot would lose to Whapeton.
