Dang, bad time and place for a penalty.

It’s worth the experience, IMO. Tips: Go to a rivalry game or a Playoff game. (Went to a Wild vs Blackhawks game a while back. It was loud.) Get your favorite seats in the house. Look at resale, with buyer protections. Or if you’re a student, watch for same day rush sales. Consider midweek as more season ticket holders sell off midweek games. Go early for warmups and you may get someone to flip you a puck. Plus watching the skill drills is also fun.

So ... the key to getting a win on Friday is to play another team with a lower winning percentage on Friday! CC 1-6 before tonight on Fridays. (In their defense, there's a lot of one-goal losses in that stretch.) J/K Overall, a solid effort. Credit especially Driscoll who kept us in it while close. .933 save pct tonight reflects that. Nice to see Portz get a goal, and reward for alot of hard work.

Our Centermen need to be especially diligent in our defensive zone tonight. Going to be a tough task without the 28 minutes of Sanderson in the ice.

Stat of the day: In games where UND takes a major penalty OR gives up a 3x5: 2 wins, 5 losses In games without either: 9 wins, 1 OT loss. AKA unbeaten in regulation.

This is definitely trap game(s) for UND. After a month of the toughest competition in all of NCAA, a letdown or loss of intensity has to be guarded against. UNO lost on Saturday (deservedly so) and dropped 8-10 places in the Pairwise. With CC's RPI hovering around #40 of 59 teams, a loss hurts. Good weekend to get everyone on board, no passengers, roll 18 (19) skaters, keep the shifts short, and poise with the puck.

Actually the average ages of Michigan and UND are almost the same. As to matchups , we just need the higher seed and last change.
