Loved the Bina hit of the game. He also has the lead on the Goal of the Year. Hello ESPY!! His physical play is stepping up as the year goes by. NO FEAR. Robbie's a great role model for anyone facing adversity.

I live amongst the Suicidal. Its going to be a fun week upcoming ... so much fodder, so many opportunities, where to begin. Both of my daughters wore Sioux jerseys to school last week, got extensive ridicule, and are planning to wear them to school again next week.

Yes, in the sense that: 1) head-to-head is a criteria for Sioux vs Gophers. Another win (or two) vs. MN and we would have a shot at the pairwise comparison vs. MN. 2) it helps our comparisons against all the other opponents we have with Minnesota. (ie, WCHA teams...)

A little girl wearing a Sioux jersey walks in and her little Gopher friends start saying how the Sioux stink and the Gophers are going to beat the Sioux. "Just like last March?" says the little Sioux fan. "What happened in March?" says one of the little Gopher fans. [sioux fan rolls eyes.] "How can you say you're going to sweep? Good commentary. You hit on one of my pettest peeves, namely that hooking is never called unless the guy flops. The worst hooks go uncalled, while calling the tiny tugs that are embellished (and should be diving instead of hooking). Guys like Wheeler and TJ just don't go down, so they don't get the calls (and the opponents get more brazen in their stickwork). The NHL game IS more interesting right now....

UND's best chance of winning is to get the Gophers off their game. Best way to do that is to hit the body, numbers behind the puck, and get inside their heads. Denver being especially good at the latter. The other key will be to draw penalties, as its dang near impossible to score against MN even strength. That means keeping feet moving, pressure the D, and go to the net - make em haul you down. I have a hunch we'll see guys step up this weekend.
