  1. Yes, I remember them both vividly, having seen both in person.
  2. Postgame interview with Hak: TH: "should we just replay last nights interview" DH: "OK" [/end] PS, well almost. It was the shortest, most predictable interview I've ever heard. Hak admitted to being frustrated, which is a first.
  3. We feel your pain.
  4. Tech won 3-2.
  5. All the top teams lost guys to the pros. And any of them would be unstoppable if they hadn't lost top players to the pros.
  6. If you read the book on covering the puck in the crease, that's it. It should be a Penalty Shot, but of course it won't be called.
  7. Kaip and Radke going into the crease for a loose puck. I like it. Need more.
  8. 6 left, back to 5x5, still 2-3.
  9. HEY! I just realized we didn't lose the second period! WOOOO!!!!
  10. "Grieco with the save - and they score on the rebound" That was not a shot that should have led to a difficult rebound.
  11. Oshie with a nice tip on a shot from the point. Good effort so far tonight ...
  12. Dogs leading 3-2. Sioux leading 1-0. Maybe its a night for the underdogs.
  13. Well, OK. What's your point?
  14. Forney hooked - and there's no call .... argh
  15. Grieco with the save AND NO REBOUND!!! Sign of good things maybe?
  16. Kinda ridiculous that a) Shepherd didn't call the hook on Kozek's break, and b) the AR called it when the Head Ref got a look at it.
  17. Conservative start. Last shift, somebody left their guy in front of Grieco - not a good sign. Hey, the women scored a goal today!
  18. Sure. Can you email it to me?
  19. I like the shakeup. Its what is needed. We need to play with urgency, and these look like good combinations to get that done. Chemistry - will be interseting to see how they play with their new 'mates. Go Sioux! Let's get off to break with a nearly 500 record.
  20. This is more fun today than thinking about tonights game . I remember the night of my conception. Went to a party with my dad and came home with my mom. Grew up all over ND - Carrington (on top of the old Busy Bee store), McHenry, Starkweather, Maddock, and finally Kindred. It was a great way to grow up. (Not much to visit, but great for growing up.) UND 77-81, and Rodentland ever since. Oh - and Jofa17 was one of our favorite players in the Farce - worked his aff off every shift.
  21. Hypothetically, I could see Blais interested in being commissioner of the WCHA, if Mcleod were to step down. (He's been in that role for quite a while.) Alternatively, after Lucia takes the job coaching UND's women's team, then Dean would maybe apply for the U of M Men's job.
  22. And a beautiful goal it was! Greene walked around the forwards, walked around the D, cut across the front of net and got it past Fernandez from in close. I tell ya, the guy should be playing forward...
  23. It takes a lot of maturity to make a move like this, a good sign that Hunter Bishop will be successful in whatever he chooses to do. I hope he finds his way back to UND's hockey team, but in any scenario, I'd like to send my Best Wishes.
  24. Sorry HockeyMom, I disagree with you on this one. I remember the same discussions happening just 30 years ago about Sioux women's basketball, which drew 300 fans a game at the time. Lot of people said they would never draw as much as the men. Within my lifetime, which I hope goes for the next 30 years, I believe the Ralph will indeed fill for UND women's hockey. It will take sustained success, and a heated rivalry. (can you spell M-i-n-n-e-s-o-t-a?) I'll call you in 2036 to say I told you so. And to watch your avatar's daughter notch a hat trick against the Gophers.
  25. Phil and family - For whatever it is, I hope it goes away soon and you can get back to doing what you love soon. Best wishes for a swift recovery.
