  1. Prosser ejected. That's big.
  2. CC radio link. http://www.coloradocollege.edu/athletics/v...ckey/listen.asp SCSU now up 3-0, 3 minutes into the 2nd.
  3. I'm just a little slow ... http://media.www.miamistudent.net/media/st...355-page2.shtml
  4. Nothing against UAA, but there is a large difference this year between #8, #9 and #10...
  5. Uh-oh. Now I'm in REAL trouble. Gophers going on the PP. 1-0 still, late 1st.
  6. Watch they'll get a month of goals in the next couple hours. (Four) I know analytically it helps the Sioux more if the Gophers win, but my heart won't let me cheer for the outcome that helps my team. I have sinned.
  7. As in previous weeks, Comcast in the Twin Cities has non-rodent hockey. Tonight its SCSU and Tech. Check your listings mine is on channel 23. I'm enjoying watching SCSU-Tech while the Gophers and Badgers aren't available to 90% of the Twin Cities.
  8. Gophers open the scoring. 1-0 in the first,. in Minneapolis. Derek Peltier, he of the special rule allowing unlimited punching, scored his 2nd goal of the year. From Carmen and Flynn.
  9. I'm enjoying the Miami student radio broadcast. (Maybe because they sound like the Holy Cross guys.) http://www.orgs.muohio.edu/wmsr/listen.html End of 1, scoreless. Western outshooting Miami 10-2.
  10. Great research - thanks! for doing the work. I think the big theme of the second half is that we're playing at outstanding tempo, especially neutral zone and on transition. That cuts both ways - fewer taken and more drawn. 1) The Sioux are drawing lots of penalties by sheer hustle, speed, tenacity. Of the 42 PP opps, Oshie alone has probably drawn 15. Guys like Trupp, Watkins, VV, similarly. 2) The Sioux aren't taking a lot of penalties, because of tempo above AND because the puck isn't in our defensive zone much. 3) This constant full-speed assault is creating lots of hits, and pi$$ing off the opposition. The only team I've seen that can flat out skate with the Sioux at full tempo is CC. I'd love to see a Final Five Title game of UND-CC.
  11. He's got 10 games (I hope, plus NCAA's), and he's averaging 3 per game the last 2 games. He's on pace for 30 more.... I'm good with that.
  12. I think I got this ... If you rip off my t-shirt its wrong. But if you rip off my rip-off T-shirt its OK.
  13. Alaska might win the Final Five.
  14. Heck yes. We could even see an All WCHA Elite Eight!! (For that to happen, one of the 3 Non Qualifying WCHA Schools will have to step up and get invited: UAA, Tech, or UMTC.) For the record, I don't see the Committee torturing the brackets quite so much to avoid first round conference matchups. I think they'll allow a few - to avoid the possibility of an all-wcha elite eight.
  15. Flip the midget. Nice. Finley can't turn pro until he learns that one.
  16. Once its finalized that the Gophers are coming to the Ralph for the playoffs, you'll have 7 minutes before the whole place sells out.
  17. Hmmm.... something doesn't add up at face value. Question: Which of these doesn't make sense? A) None of the nation's top 50 scorers play for UND. or B) 3 of the top 7 in the WCHA play for UND.
  18. I can't EVER remember MN being at the bottom of the PP standings. Another amazing stat: Denver's PK, for the WCHA season, has allowed 1 net goal, in 88 opportunities. And CC is doing even better - net zero goals allowed on their PK. Here I thought the Sioux PK was good. http://www.collegehockeystats.net/0708/confstats/wcham Special Teams Net: PPF SHA PP PPA SHF SH NET 1 Colorado College 15 2 +13 7 7 0 +13 2 Denver 13 3 +10 7 6 -1 +9 3 North Dakota 18 2 +16 12 2 -10 +6 St. Cloud State 17 4 +13 9 2 -7 +6 5 Minnesota Duluth 9 2 +7 10 5 -5 +2 6 Michigan Tech 11 1 +10 15 0 -15 -5 Minnesota 9 4 +5 12 2 -10 -5 8 Wisconsin 12 6 +6 15 2 -13 -7 9 Minnesota State 13 4 +9 20 2 -18 -9 10 Alaska Anchorage 10 2 +8 20 2 -18 -10
  19. SWEET. Lyrics that is. (The ticket thing will work out.)
  20. 3-2 SCSU. Disallowed goal, "motzko is hot". CC radio feed:http://www.coloradocollege.edu/athletics/varsity_sports/Hockey/listen.asp PS Happy Birthday.
  21. I think the "rumblings" have already started. I don't think he's in trouble until next year, however. If they don't make progress next year, his tenure could be shortened.
  22. I think I'll change my nickname to 11>9.
  23. Mazzocco and Woog will find a way to blame Finley.
  24. Well, that pretty much seals it. An insurmountable 2-0 lead with 29 minutes left. All thats left now is a dozen ejections for fighting.
  25. Bandwidth is not exactly scarce tonight.
