  1. Isn't Iwabucci the goalie in this clip? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-FIqU387ycU
  2. Trupp/top 5? in the nation?
  3. From Warroad Marvin (scott and conway) Christian (dave and eddie)
  4. Or maybe he doesn't see pro hockey in his future (projected 3-4 rounder) and he wants to get parlay his hockey talent for an Ivy education. If pro hockey calls, he will have that option but he will also have an Ivy sheepskin. There are plenty of ECACHL alum in the NHL, by the way.
  5. Oshie is gone, regardless of how many players the Blues deal. If they were in a playoff race, they would use him as soon as they could.
  6. There are exceptions - Pat Kane is only 5-9.5/160 - Sam Gagner is not that big either - both probably top 5 picks.
  7. Be honest - when we do have highly rated/highly drafted recruits, we all applaud the coaching staff for doing a great job of recruiting (like 05). When we don't ...
  8. Don't shoot the messenger - MF is unranked by NHL CSS mid term rankings and listed as a "c" player on their players to watch list.
  9. JT$$>JS$
  10. Best bet for success at the F5 - 3rd place reg season finish and a play the Fri afternoon game and watch the Gophers and the Badgers/Pioneers/Tigers battle it out Fri Night.
  11. very objective and credible
  12. What criteria are you using to rank our 07 class "top 5?" In the WCHA? In the nation?
  13. Except when it is better for us
  14. Stop that - it is better to play Fri afternoon and have 24+ hours to recover for the title game Sat nite - let the Goph's play Fri night.
  15. To view the NHL CSS site you need to register. To view the mid term rankings go here http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/feature/?fid=10901&hubname=
  16. NHL Central Scouting Service
  17. So what other data points do you use to rank a recruiting class objectively if you ignore CSS rankings?
  18. Duncan's been a great player, helped out by playing with 1st round draft picks this year. I am not dissing any player, my point is that we have probably 1 blue chip (Lapoint) player out of the last 2 recruiting classes. That's all.

FYI - Rick Nash is the only forward from the 2002 Entry draft with more games and points than Bouchard - he's only 23! Who should they have drafted? http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/draft/nhl2002e.html

Then you should be happy with last night's game because no team is as boring as Dallas. Also - 39 shots on goal is boring? Did you watch the game or just read the box score and/or Pat Ruesse's column?
  21. All I am saying in a player like Turris is likely to be in the Parise/Towes class. Trupp is not. CSS does not make many mistakes in the top 10.
  22. Thanks, coach.
  23. Duncan was the 3rd leading scorer in the BCHL and had 21 points in 11 playoff games in 04-05. Trupp's numbers aren't close to these.
