Fair enough, but it would be nice if it was a regular time, like the football red river rivalry or numerous other games that are always on a specific weekend. Maybe do it around Halloween. Students are always amped then.

Why all the bakes sales and lemonade stands when college sports is apparently making so much money. I'm a Twins season ticket holder,but they don't ask me for donations to pay Joe Ryan or Byron Buxton. This is all an unsustainable house of cards and if there isn't a scale back soon college sports will be gone.

Do it the same weekend every year (like how Alabama Tennessee always play the same weekend in October ever year in football).
I wouldn't mind if they tried to start a new tradition and put the series over Thanksgiving with Thursday night and Saturday night games home and home. Get a sponsor and call it the Scheels Red River Classic or something like that.

They have taken roadtrips to SCSU and UMD recently.
UMD was the icebreaker, St Cloud wasn't in the WCHA with them. They have not played UND,CC or Denver in a series in the past 30 years. There is clearly bad blood.

Very western biased, not sure what ratings are based on. I was underwhelmed by Yost, it's history isn't hockey related and I don't remember it having the best sightlines. Have heard Munn is similar to the old winter sports center so would like to get there for a game. Would love to see us schedule a series with the Spartans.

Matthews was a treat, glad I got there and it completed my Beanpot set. Hobey Baker rink at Princeton was an absolute treat, the Wrigley or Fenway of college hockey. Lynch at Cornell was also great. Yost was a bit of a disappointment.
Trips id like to do are Alfond Arena in Orono, Lawson in Kalamazoo and Michigan Tech during winter carnival. The Clarkson st Lawrence combo is another that is of interest.

It goes way further back than that. We don't need to grovel to play them. Much rather play the Boston schools, a resurgent Maine or even the Q.
Like the idea of hosting a tourney. Would love to see the Woody Keeble cup annually the weekend before Veterans Day. With either Army or Air Force every year along with an eastern team and a ccha team.
I think the NPI is going to punish teams like Penn St. That load up on cupcakes, so you may see more series between heavy hitters moving forward.

Need to get a hockey east team back on the schedule soon. I'd like to see Maine, UMass or BC.
