What the hell was that? Watching the replay made it look even worse. Just plain fugly.
-
And maybe put the mic a little bit closer to his mouth so that it isn't hard to hear?
-
Wild up 3 - 1 on Hawks. Nice spin-o-rama goal by I think Bouchard. Couldn't really tell.
-
If I were an engineering student name Dobson from Mich Tech, I would keep my eyes up and my head down for the rest of the game or it might just get popped right off. Big Joe has an amazing shift, only to be T-bagged by that cheap little s&!t. Bet he wished he could take that one back because the payback is really going to come like thunder.
-
Sure as hell should be, but he really didn't get enough seperation for it to be called. And who are we kidding, Campion is never going to give that call to the Sioux.
-
How the hell is that a penalty? And all of a sudden the AR is taking over the game? Campion is suck T-bag!
-
If the stripes won't give you one, you just do it yourself! Oh, and Joe Finley, scoring MACHINE!!
-
You watching the Wild game? See that check that brought down the boards? I guess since Hawks haven't had a team for so long the boards got a little rusty.
-
I think I heard Sioux 10 Technies 3. Not sure.
-
Not when, "...you're 6'7" and 258 pounds. Those things tend to get noticed on the ice."
-
Finley gets penalty for being a hell of a lot bigger guy that just crushed a Technie into the 2nd row of seats.
-
lammy taking one off the pumpkin! Anything for a win!
-
And what were we saying about TRUPP!!!!!!!!! HE SHOOTS, HE SCOOOOOOOOOORRES!!!! Beautiful move! Even better goal!! Absolute thing of beauty!!
-
Oshie just raped out there by two guys out there. Where's the call blind guys?
-
That wasn't a take down in the corner?! WTF??
-
Sioux look good so far, lots of speed and the passing has been pretty crisp. Technies are playing the same old grab the s&!t out of them so they don't beat you game. Good defense, boring as hell to watch.

He has really been turning it up a notch, he's the real deal. Will be a big time player for the Sioux for the next 3 years, hopefully.

Saw this story in a local MN paper on-line, Sauk Centre. Soph named Austin Plaine. Really haven't heard this kids name mentioned much at all, but after reading the story he sounds like he could be worth looking at after this season. And, "...his ultimate dream is to play hockey for the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux." Off to a pretty good start numbers wise, 26 points in 13 games. His team (Prairie Centre North Stars) beat St. Paul Academy 5-4 last week and his line had all 5 goals, he had 3 A. And sounds like a good hard working kid who still really just loves to play the game. http://www.saukherald.com/main.asp?Section...amp;TM=63332.54

Great character win for the boys tonight. They needed this, and it needed to be more than a 2 goal win. I thought they handled the puck a lot similar to last night, but just got the breaks tonight that didn't bounce their way last night. D looked better tonight, but Genoway's gotten into a bad habit of stabbing at the puck, giving up some horrible odd man rushes. Finley just abused people all night!! We were 9 rows up RIGHT next to the student section, Finley went behind the net had the puck with one hand threw a shoulder/elbow and sent the Clownie flat on his back! Line shake up seems to have done the trick, but I am still missing what Miller and Martens bring to the ice. I'd like to see Malone back on the all rookie line with Trupp and Frattin, they looked much better together last night. The tallies tonight were all great goals. We were in the 2nd period end and right in front for Oshie's goal, it was a thing of beauty. VV's roofer was in out so fast it didn't even move the water bottle. But the absolute best part of tonight's game, for this humble fan, was watching the Sioux after the Clownie's scored - they came back with relentless pressure. As the saying goes, that first shift after a goal is critical for both teams. The Sioux did the same after their goals, but they really seemed to get an extra jump after a big Clownie rush or after the 2 goals. That has not been the case on a consistent basis this season. Even though a sweep would have been better, I take that as a major step forward and maybe 'the' defining moment as the start of the stretch run. Guess we'll see next weekend against the Engineer Students who happen to play hockey.

I'm off to the game right now. Look for LOTS of Sioux fans in the crowd an Oshie onslaught!!! Hope to see some of you there!

Sioux, with the exception of Lammy, took a period and a half off and still come out with a heck of a big win. I have watched every game (that was broadcast or webcast) and I don't remember seeing the Sioux as out hustled as badly as they were tonight. It was really noticeable in the 2nd, they were standing around and getting beat to the puck all over the ice. Guys looking at one another with a "are you going to get it or should I" hesitation that I have also not seen all season. They have been "off" in some of the other games or had bad puck luck, but they were still skating hard as hell all 3 periods. That 30 minutes half way through the 1st and the entire 2nd was WAY out of character for this team and I hope it was just a case of big game premature ejac, the boys just got a little too UP for the big game. I would say the "come to jesus" in the lockerroom could have been a season turning moment for the team because they completely turned it around in the 3rd. Great to see the goals come from the other lines, Congrats to Malone for his 1st. Would also say that's the best game the goof pucksters have put together this season, and since I'm stuck behind enemy lines, I've watched quite a few of their games on Goofer Sports Network North. And I hate to admit this, but The Booger actually had a good observation. Before the Sioux scored, they couldn't hit a pass to save their lives. As soon as the GEN-o-way goal went in, everything was tape to tape and they were clicking just like we've seen many times this season. Now let's see the same 3rd period team come out tomorrow night and put together a complete game. Dumb-ay said a least 5 times that the Sioux, "...are usually lazy and take Saturday night's off, so the Goofs should be able to come back tomorrow night and get an easy win." I guess he didn't hear about last week in Denver, or in Wisconsin, or Mich Tech or Northeastern - when the Sioux came back to play and WON on those Saturday night games. Do your homework you hack. Oh, and the fact that the last memory from tonight will be the 3rd period meltdown when they fell apart and let in 5 goals (I still count the helmet off goal). Hak will have the boys fired up. It'll be great to watch Dumb-ay eat his smarmy cheap shots. Nice gut check 3rd period. Great character win for Lammy. Really great to see "other lines" throwing up points. I think this is "the game" that turns it around for the Sioux at home and the rest of the season. See you tomorrow night! GO SIOUX!!

See the idiot doing the Dork Wheeless jersey pop in the background? Somone should Perp him between the legs, wait, probably not much to stop the a stick. This happens to the Fox morons every year, you would think they would learn.
-
A-M-E-N brother!!! Besides the win, I was really happy to see them skating and passing the puck so sharp. Everything was tape to tape. Yup! A win makes for a very happy Sioux faithful!

I'm up in northwest, Maple Grove, I took the ruler out on the deck and it was over 9 inches just before game time. The news just said there were 238 accidents in the Mpls/St. Paul metro!! People are morons during the first storm. GREAT day to own a tow truck!
