I'd like to join the twin cities sioux underground, I've been in bloomington for many, many games and probably sat next to a lot of you guys. But I'm in Maple Grove & the Roseville drive is just so much easier. I'll try to catch "the group" at the Maine series next weekend. Great thread though! Right there with you MafiaMan. I live in the land of goofs, taxes and liberals. The "former player" was moses marching them to the promised land at the start of last year. By the middle of last summer, when the former player had showed his true character, the goofer nation were tripping over each other to see who could throw him in front of the bus first. The reason dumb bucky, or whatever his "handle" is, get so raw nerved about it is because you don't hear that kind of circular firing squad talk from other WCHA fans, us Sioux fans at the top of the list. I work with a guy who bleeds, GUSHES, Badger Red. In the 10 years I've known him, he's never called 1 of their players a cancer or talked smack about a kid. And I think the Robbi the dive queen could have been a qualifier. How did willy shakespeare say it again, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

Did they limit the number of the people that can log in to the video weblink? I just tried it 5 times and it says the server is down. I paid for that horse s*&^ data flix for 3 years and now I get screwed out of a free broadcast?? Nice alumni work UND! Anybody help me with a link? Audio is nice a clear, but I want video!!!!!

This will send the Goofer nation over the top. It sounds like some of the Bruin fans are using some of the same language/excuses the Goofer nation did before PK came to the Maridouche. Get ready for all of them to flood in, AGAIN. But in a way it's almost too fun to do this to them. Kinda like hooking the same sunnies off the dock time after time. There is a name missing that has some potential as well, VandeVelde. Although he wasn't a super star in Lincoln, he did make progress and played for a good team. I remember watching him during the MN High School tourney a couple of years ago, he was a shooting machine. Same tourney where in the Championship Game, The Oshie wins the face off, dives, tips the puck to his winger for the winning goal. If he picked up some strength, a feel for the next level of speed and a little defense - he might surprise a lot of us. I think he will and I'll even go so far as saying he'll drop in 10 goals and a dozen assists.

I have 2 tickets for Friday night, right in front of the press box in UND's shooting end for 2 periods. They are selling on ebay and other sites for $75 to $150 a ticket. I live in Minneapolis and have had offers for $150 but would rather sell them to a fellow NoDak flatlander. How does $100 a ticket sound? You won't be disappointed in the seats or the game. I can't go because my wife is pregnant and on best rest. I am going to have suffer through the Wooger Mozoko b.s. on Fox. Email me at this address.
