  2. He looks pretty raw physically but seems to catch the ball with ease and looks comfortable finding soft spots to settle in for his qb

Yeah, just think if he had a QB that could get him some of those passes in stride. He had to stop, turn around and go for a bunch of them.

  3. I have enjoyed the fact that the peanut gallery from down south is nowhere to be found this year in the UND recruiting thread. Tells me alot about about how our recruiting is going - no questioning who offered, etc.

    Silence is golden, golden.......

I think Darell's got them corralled in another thread, which I won't venture into for fear that I might get sucked into another futile trolling contest. :D

  4. One other possibility regarding the commitment Mannausau apparently facilitated--Dan Bell reportedly visited this past weekend. Even though he committed to UND several months ago, I believe there was some information to suggest it was more of a "soft" commitment. If he made a firm commitment following his visit, I suppose it's possible that may have prompted the "chest bump"?

Great point... I thought that too after I posted.

  5. Wall has only appeared in three games. If she isn't 100% healthy, I hope they consider keeping her out all year and getting a medical hardship. I would rather have her for another full year than half of this year - especially if she is not fully able to contribute.

Heard today that Wall has lost feeling in the back of her leg due to an injury before the start of the season. UND may sit her the rest of the year and is said to be pursuing a medical hardship waiver for her.

  6. Coach K with a "late CB" shout out tweet to Coach M, with a crypic message about kicking butt in WI.

    So let the speculation begin.

We have offers out to at least 6 WI players (others on here might know if any of them visited this weekend and are so far unaccounted for as far as committments).

    They are:

    Jester Weah, 3-star WR

    Tony Gumina, 2-star TE

    Zach Poker, 2-star TE

    Jake Gronholz, 2-star OL

    Dean Helt, 6'6", 225#, DE

    Logan Niezke, 2-star DE (6'4", 225#)

Kinda hope it is one of the TEs listed above.

EDIT* Forgot about RB Rashadeem Gray as a player of interest from (Whitefish) WI.

  7. O yea, just what we need, another smallish quick rb.

Those were my initial thoughts, too. Runs a little too straight up and down but the kid can fly. It seems like getting 6 foot plus, 200 pound slash and burner at RB is as tough as it is for UND basketball to reccruit bigs.

  8. A few too many to drink last night?

Don't hold your breath for a response anytime soon, bin...it's only 10 a.m. It'll be several more hours before the hangover wears off and mommy barges into the young neer-do-well's room with a broom to roust him out of bed with calls to "finish his paper route" and "clean his room." Oh the carefree days of youth.

  9. 23 points for Webb, and 20 apiece for Huff and Anderson.

Huff had 9 rebounds, while Allard had 6.

UND shot 53% from the field and 53% from the arc, and 74% from the line.

    Bobcats outrebounded us 38-31.

Sioux had 12 turnovers, Bobcats had 14.

I think Brekke gets us at least even if he's in there. He gets half of what Allard got for us plus four more (at least).
