Brady Murray looked good in his NHL debut today. Looks like he belongs in the league. Kings beat Ducks 4-1 in the opener in London.

Get a grip. Matt did drop the gloves in St.Clown when he was a freshmen. Palmascino got caught with his head down at center ice and a clown player lit him up. green came across the ice and went after the guy, dropped his gloves, took off his helmet and repeated "i'm going to f-ing kill you" over and over. nobody would go with him. also, he didn't have the opportunity to go in his career becuase he was constantly in the box.

a. not a dirty hit? why did he take him low rather than up high as to not "sweep the leg?" that's a dirty hit. the guy has played hockey all his life... don't you think he could've taken a different route? b. boogard trying to injure somebody...? it's either him or the other guy that gets hurt. if you watched any hockey last year you'd notice that he didn't start 98% of the fights he was in. c. finally, many times you state that the "code" is stupid and doesn't serve a real purpose in the game..? how could all those Canadians be wrong?

dave- the wreckless and dangerous play you sepeak of is the reason for the fighting. it keeps careless and reckless play out of the game becuase if a player does carry himself in that manner on the ice, the enforcer from the other team will end it quick. guys need to be accountable for their actions becuase as we've seen it can end up with a player getting his neck broke. Job well done, Matt Greene.

andy murray was the coach and his family has been screwing the Sioux ever since his son decided the Swiss route was the way to go.

Stafford will be a regular next year. He and Vanek had some nice chemistry down the stretch. If you watched the game, I'm sure you held your head in your hands like i did after he rushed the wrap-around and Emery made the save. He was inches from putting them up 3-2 and a great chance to win the game. He had a nice season and a good start to his NHL career.

they both tend to disappear in parts of games. i though both did in college. Vanek has dominated periods in NHL games where Stafford has not but is a rookie. it's been well documented Vanek has mostly done it in the offensive side. they were fun to watch down the stretch and i'm sure Stafford will be more of a force next year. it's great to see so many WCHA players be a big part of NHL teams. Go college hockey! but can't seem to get myself to root for HE players.

here's another rumor -take it for what it's worth, which right now is: NOTHING : Oshie and Duncan are invited to the Blues rookie camp this summer. Also, Blues are back talking to Oshie and putting the heat on to change his mind. aleah....? can you add any substance to this?
