It certainly has.... the starting Calgary goalie certainly had a tough night.... but overall Calgary has not looked very good... now the backup goalie looks to be getting a penalty EDIT: Calgary tried to replace their starting goalie so they won't risk an injury, the backup goalie immediately takes a guy out (stick to the stomach) and the starting goalie is back in....

HUGE save by the Sabre's goalie and defenseman with nine seconds left!!!

Sabres seem to be taking this period off... although I guess I can't fully comment as I am switching back and forth between this game and the Devils game

Finally got control of the TV... Parise almost gets a hat trick.... now fighting in front of the net.... wish I had been able to watch the whole game!

Once again... not exactly nickname related directly, but this week is UND's annual Time-Out Week and Wacipi. A schedule of events can be found at the end of the article... but the powwow is Fri, Sat, and Sun... For the games from the end of the season you can get some from www.fightingsioux.com There isn't a lot there, but it is better than nothing. Other than that, I'm sure people have individual pictures that they could get to you if you were looking for something in particular.

Dallas scores VERY early!!! 24 seconds in.... But anyway, I was just coming on here to thrown an idea out there. Just watched the introductions and anthems for this game and every time that I see/hear the anthems it gives me chills. I'm not Canadian, but hearing the entire arena sing the anthems is amazing! I think it sets the tone for the game and the fan involvement right away. Why can't we do this at the Ralph with The Star Spangled Banner? Perhaps next year we should try and get the entire arena to sing....

So true! We are blessed to have such amazing student athletes.... because it is not only the hockey team that is like this... the football team is as well. I definitly made the right decision in where to come to school.

When I said that Toews signed autographs quickly I didn't mean it in the way that he was in a rush to get through them... he definitly stopped and talked to anyone that wanted to... I just meant that he had his own line, whereas people like Duncan and Oshie had lines coming from their own tables and could only sign as fast as the table next to them was signing... therefore Toews was able to get through his fans quicker and had some "alone time"

Toews was one of the last players to leave as well... he signed autographs rather quickly (compared to others) and towards the end he didn't have a line but he didn't go anywhere. He just sat/stood there wandered around a little bit and chatted with anyone that would stop to talk. I thought Lee seemed to be very happy. I heard one person say that she thought the nicest table was that of Lee and Foyt, although all were nice.

Fantastic evening! I love Fighting Sioux Hockey players and fans!!! Everyone was having so much fun. Definitly could have been set up better, I've seen in the past where it was all one line... instead there were very long lines all over the concourse... oh well, still got to see everyone... and maybe they'll have it figured out for next year. Lots of great pictures and some funny quotes! Too bad Finley wasn't there, he is always very entertaining to watch interact with the little kids! EDIT: Thanks, Finley wasn't there... typo

A young woman from the Fighting Sioux Club was in the Union today making copies of the flyer so I can confirm that this will be taking place... although I believe it is being held at the Hyslop, where the swimming pool is.

I heard that too.... I missed part of the beginning of the show, but is he maybe talking about Oshie not knowing that it is already public information? Or is it someone else on top of Duncan, Chorney, Oshie?
