UND actually has Denver, who is no slouch, at home in between trips to MN and UW!

I was able to watch both games on FSN. That had to be the worst display of "hockey" I have seen in a long, long time. Mankato was absolutely terrible.

It will be interesting to see what happens. They both had 4 g's and 3 a's.

FM and DW may be nice guys, but they are clowns and they talk out of their a**es more than any commentators I have ever heard.

It looks like a battle for second, which I hope is the case in the WCHA!!!

Interesting that Campion told Greene he wouldn't have called the first penalty against him if the same play happened in the third. There is something inherently wrong with that.

Great interview. He can't get the feel for the newer sticks despite keeping his hands soft by rubbing lotion on them everynight.

That is probably a reflection of what is happening on the ice!

I think your hat is safe, but it appears that DB is at the point where he won't tolerate stupid penalties or silly mistakes.

Great interview with Prpich. TH asks him about 6'7" d-man Scott and says you wouldn't want to tangle with him and it seemed that MP basically shrugged before saying, in essence, you never know! I like that he isn't afraid of anyone.

I don't recall anybody specifically criticizing you for your posts, rather making light of the volume of posts - and some of the comments have been tongue-in-cheek. However, quantity doesn't always translate into quality on message boards. You stated that you "only" post 12/13 times a day, but that translates to over 4,700 posts for a year, which is only 300 less than the combined total of Sprig, Dagies and PCM (overall numbers 2, 3 and 4 on this board) who combined have been registered on this board for approximately SEVEN years!

All of a sudden, after his big game last night, ZP is fourth in the conference in points per game trailing only Bochenski, Genoway and Lessard (UMD). On a different note, Brandt's save percentage has dipped below .90, which seems to be the measuring stick of good/notgoodenough used by coaches. I don't think either goalie has been particularly sharp the last three weeks and I hope they get back on track with all the big, important games coming up - of course I do like that they aren't losing games for UND, which is different from last season. conference stats

KVLY showed some highlights tonight, including UND's first goal. I cannot figure out why they took an assist away from Genoway. It is obvious that CG picks up the puck off of Bina's shot and passes it right to Bochenski who buried it! I don't mean to reignite an old subject, but more than once this season the official scoring has left me baffled.

I watched the whole game. Couple of thoughts: very chippy game and Mankato looks terrible. The ice was bad and they mentioned that it had only been in for two days and would be taken out after tomorrow's game. On a side note, Mankato's McKelvie has to be the biggest putz in the league. He got smoked by David Hale last year and tonight Tallackson pins his head to the ice with one hand and RM can't escape and later in the third all 180 lbs. of Tyler Hirsch slams RM to the ice and pins him down with little effort. He should either hit the weights or avoid the rough stuff!
