Tech last swept the gofers in Mariucci in 1971 I believe...the Sioux haven't done it since the early 80's? Pretty amazing actually...Not sure what's wrong with the gofers but it has made for a good weekend at my house...

dressing up for the Halloween games...smuggling a bottle of something in and pouring it into your pop....beating the sh*t out of the Gofers in '87 (5 of 6?)....going to the Spud on Friday afternoon for the pregame and then going early to the game and playing Liar's Dice during warmups...jamming out to the music played during the pregame, it was the same mix tape every time and it rocked (Nazareth, Hair of the Dog)....taking my younger brother to his first game there against MN and literally getting carried in by the crush of people....watching Bobby Joyce score 6 against Tech...yelling at the opposing team from behind the bench and knowing they can hear you because they keep looking up there...

We use to run out during intermission to the parking lot and pound a couple beers and listen to Hennessy on the radio...It's nice being able to walk up to the concourse and get beers and drink inside, but it's just not the same... Having the whole student section on top of the ice was awesome....It was pretty nuts during my time at UND, especially 1987.

I heard back from the REA about them not selling the satellites any more...they said there was nothing wrong with them but they were dropping them for other reasons.?. Jamie from the Ralph sent me this message when I asked about obtaining a system... "You can contact sky vision in Fergus falls MN, they sell the systems also... ask for a larger style dish... 100cm or bigger.." So it appears that there were probably many complaints or issues with the smaller dishes this year (really?) and they were tired of the headache so they dropped them...Just one man's opinion...

If WDAZ is sending their "truck" out there, mabye we'll get a better feed...the Sioux football playoff games all came in pretty good when WDAZ had their Livestar? truck out there...

the times they are a-changin'....It's unfortunate in the aspect of splitting up the student section and moving the band for more "corporate" seats, but in the same breath, it wouldn't hurt my feelings if Yost burned down to the friggin ground. Then #1 seeded WCHA teams wouldn't have to play regionals in that rink anymore...(UND, Denver, and CC have all met similar fates in the NCAA's there)

CC continually buzzed Briggs all game on Saturday...even after he made a clean save...I wonder if they'll try that with Greene, Schneider, and the rest of the big boys out there?

CC really dominated last night's game against the Gofers....the Sioux better be ready to skate because this Tiger team goes for every loose puck and will cycle , cycle, cycle, until you fall asleep....It was nice not to have to listen to the M-I-N-N-E-S-O-T-A alphabet all weekend, love that cheer. If Parise plays in net, any chance they could find him a "goalie tether"?

yeah, I think someone was flipping the on/off switch all night....signal quality kept jumping around from 37% (acceptable) to 33%(unwatchable) to 0% to 90% back to 37%...WTF? Nice win for the Sioux though...Oh, and too bad the Goofs lost..
