This thread seems to have gotten side tracked from it's 1st posting. My question would be why did the World Curling need to use the practice facility for a party room? It is a shame that our hockey team will be basically locked out of their own arena for preperation of trying to win our 8th National Title.

dumbest marketing move ever..... afternoon basketball, these games should be at night, you have youth hockey, boat shows, and people working..... no reason these games should not be at regular scheduled times..... plus the fact they are televising them.....? great for walk up ticket sales in grand forks....

I was under the assumtion, there are no rules, were just ribbing each other, having a little fun, it should be ok the call people names, show disrespect, use vuglarity, hell whatever floats your boat after all were in college right, that gives us a pass on class or being civil.

If we make it to the final five (hope), and when the X-cel announcer introduces the teams It would be ok then by your logic.... The Minnesota Golden Gophers vs The University of North Dakota's Hostile and Abusive "Fighting Sioux" We are just having some fun right....lighten up....?

1st of all I love Sioux Hockey... This last week the #4 vs #1 Division 1 College Hockey teams played to a 0-0 suspended tie because of FOG....? This last week the #2 vs #8 Division 1 College Football teams played on thursday night BC beating VT in the last 2 minutes. Ask yourself if the football game would have got suspended or cxl because of FOG, Weather, or anything and not played, how much media coverage would it have recieved...? UND Hockey (Div1) is great , but a regional sport at best, receiving some national attention. NDSU football's (1aa or FCS) win over a big ten team in Minnesota (Div1) was a great achievement, but also only a bit regional. I do really believe they are on par with each other, and the #1 in North Dakota depends upon which sport you enjoy watching more.

Seay worked harder over the summer to improve her game, I believe she is a little stronger overall player than Jossy. Jossy will be a great spark plug off the bench, when they need a lift IMO. Baagason tweaked her knee, will be ok..... LaFrance had a ankle sprain..... Brekke I think will be red-shirting...

Why did Phil give him the chance...? Why on the Thursday before the Potato Bowl...? Both terrible Management practices...IMHO Nebraska did it right ...your gone on Monday!....replaced on Tuesday....Move on by Wednesday... all in the same week...? After the 360 review, the problems with contract extensions, and Phil's own relationship with the LTC, he should have been just let go..!

Nebraska fires there AD on Monday at 11am....Hires Replacement (Interm..maybe..?) Tom Osborne on Tuesday by Noon.... End of story..... Ours will live on forever, and do not give me the LOA excuse...UND officials (Phil) could tell us he has been let go. At least then the committee on D1 could replace him (interm) and go on.
