I've seen a few posters out here make comments about not liking Rand Pecknold due to x, y and z, but have yet to see or hear what was so bad. Anyone care to clarify? All I've known about so far was that he wasn't happy last year when placed in Fargo...and I think he had a legitimate complaint, too. My memory's a bit foggy on this, but weren't they a higher seed than a couple teams but got placed in Fargo due to either "integrity" reasons or someone was hosting, so they got sent here?

Wouldn't they qualify as historically accurate items? I'd have a hard time believing the NCAA would let us hang 7 banners that have the Brien logo (none of which the Sioux wore when they won those championships) but wouldn't let us put up the accurate logo that was in place when the championships were won. chicofelipe also makes a great point about the Blackhawks but again, I understand that the Blackhawks had the Sioux stop using the "Blackhawk logo", but as they did win 2 championships in that logo I can't believe that they would give a crap about 2 banners hanging in the arena with those logos on them. Maybe I'm wrong on that thought, though. If so, like chicofelipe said, there's a pretty influential guy in that organization that could maybe talk some sense into them!

I'm with MafiaMan. As much as I love the Bennett Brien logo, I wish they'd hang the banner using the logo that the team wore at the time. They're not going to be able to hang the 2016 banner using the Brien logo, so beginning this year are they going to have 7 Brien logos and now 1 different one? Now's the time to move to the logo that was used when the championship was won.

As much as I love this logo (best in all of sports) it would be so cool to see each banner show the actual logo that the team won it with. Anyone with skills out here in SiouxSports.com land able to do this to see what they'd look like?

Um, he's sick. My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Gornall pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

As good as he's been lately, and as much as I love his story this year, when Gardner got tossed from the faceoff my first thought was "uh oh". Then the Butcher goal happened.

I'd say the lockout was why he left. Got big $ for going before the new CBA. If there wasn't going to be a lockout I think he'd have stayed.
