Keep in mind you are just taking into consideration his points. Lasch having 15 points in league play at even strength doesn't necessarily mean that he was on the ice for 22 goals against. He may have been on the ice for more St. Cloud goals however he may not have recorded a point. If that is the case (and I'm sure he was on the ice for goals that he didn't get a point on) then he would have had to be on the ice for more goals against as well.

Jon Casey. I've got a picture on my desk of myself at about 5 years old between Casey and Darren Jensen. Just think about all the memories and players the Sioux fans have been lucky enough to be a part of. Think of all the other schools that have no history even close to what the Sioux have.

With it down to 2 of us, no reason to save him for later. If I take him today and he doesn't score and I lose, at least I lost with one of the best players going for me. In the WCHA Final 5 championship game.

It looks to me like Sioux17 used Oshie in the 2nd game.

From what I saw this weekend, with a bit of size and seasoning in the USHL, Demers will be a DI player and could fit in the WCHA.

I didn't get to see much HS hockey this year, but what I did see at the State Tournament was pretty fun to watch. G-PR will be good again next year with all of their juniors returning. I would also think that RR will re-load like usual. I have heard (although didn't see them play) that Central should be good as they were fairly young this year and some of their top players were Freshman or Sophomores. South should also be in the mix. All in all, I think the outlook for next year looks pretty good in the East, and I may have to get out and watch more games!

From where I was sitting, RR's 2nd goal looked to be offsides. Anyone have a chance to look at a replay of that and let me know what it shows? The play happened right by RR's bench, and I could have swore that the defenseman did not keep the puck in the zone. Right when that happened and the ref signaled that it he had kept it in, I told a friend that RR was going to score - sure enough they did.

Wow! I hadn't been able to get to a computer all weekend because I was out of town, and I come back to find this - what a nice surprise! I knew I was still in it, but wasn't sure how many others. I still have the Oshie card to play - not saying that's my pick just yet, but I suppose there's a good chance that I go with him for Saturday.
