In watching the play, I think it was the fact that he was stepped on by his own player that may have injured him and not the hit. I could be wrong, just another point of view.

This thing is a mess. Trying to keep bracket integrity is going to be VERY hard if you want to maintain some sort of geographical relevance. I'm going to give it a try and see what I come up with. Also, there is no more 'bus rule' in NCAA Mens Hockey. Edit: Who are the host schools? Is Minnesota the only host school in the tourney field?

Miami losing to Western Michigan 4-1 in the 3rd, that is good for the Sioux!!

I just noticed something and am wondering if someone can confirm this. I was looking at UND's comparison with Miami, specifically the common opponents. North Dakota Miami 0.6250 COP 0.7500 3-1-0 0.7500 Bemidji 0.5000 1-1-0 1-1-0 0.5000 Denver 1.0000 1-0-0 Now, In looking at this, the Sioux are 4-2 vs COP and Miami is 2-1. They both equal out to a .6667 win %. But if you look, they take the win % against each team and figure out the average. Why on earth do they do it that way? That gives those 1 game series'/holiday tournaments way too much value, IMO.

We are pretty much set. I'm sure it would take us losing to Wisconsin or St. Cloud and a lot of upsets in other conferences.

Providence upset UMass-Lowell 1-0 earlier today to move on. Edit: Upon further review, this caused our RPI to go down .0001 New Hampshire up 4-3 over BU after 2.

So Minnesota gets the winner of the 4/5 matchup regardless of who wins the 3/6? I thought they reseaded after each round so that the highest rank gets the lowest rank?

Well, Minnesota won (Yay!!) and our RPI went down .0002. Wonder what it would've done if UMD would've won, not that I wanted to find out mind you.

Right now, according to USCHO, with only the UMD/UMN game and the BU/Providence game tomorrow, the Sioux are currently tied for 6th with St. Lawrence, winning the RPI tie breaker. With Robert Morris and St. Lawrence already claiming 2 of the auto bids, and either BU or Providence taking a 3rd, that already puts the cutoff at 5th. To get to 5th, UND would need to be able to flip 2 comparisons, or flip the comparison with BC (only a .0006 difference in RPI). If UMD wins, there is basically no shot for the Sioux, however, if UMN wins, is it enough to sway UND's RPI more than .0006 points? Then, keep in mind that the BU/Providence game will affect BC's RPI (I would guess) as well as UND's as they played BU earlier in the year. I don't know enough of how the RPI formula works to know if this is even a chance. But right now, the Sioux's chances are pretty slim, IMO. Edit: Does the CHA get an auto bid with only 4 teams? Maybe Robert Morris winning that conference doesn't hurt the Sioux.

Found this site that will personalize for an extra $74.00. Not a great selection, but most of what they have is Sioux.

To have fun...but they were invited (and I'm sure compensated) by the establishment. It was fun, we were there about 45 minutes and my wife was actually dragging guys around introducing them to people. She absolutely loves Sioux players, and they were more than eager to please. I heard they were there most of the night, and the refreshments were flowing pretty good I guess.
