Hopefully Vermont has a robust network to handle the traffic they'll get from UND fans. I remember back in the WCHA days when UAA use to provide free webcasts of their hockey games. When UAA and UND played there were a couple of times their network got overloaded and the stream would crash.

CBS Sports Network is going to love that.

That's just asinine on those fans' part. Pretty sad to see such a line drawn in the sand with the bashing of different sport programs of UND. But with reading posts from Old Time Hockey, I can see the natural urge to troll back and bash the hockey team.

This feels like just the game against Maine. Feels like more of a dang loss than a tie. Matt Hrynkiw did seem to play better as time went on so that is a possible good sign. But man, disappointing end once again. Had a 2 goal lead twice, during the game. Frustrating.

Well that sucks. I was really hoping Fabbro would join Jost at UND. But wowza, BU potentially will have a really stacked defensive corp. Assuming no decommits, you've got Charlie McAvoy, Chad Krys, and now Dante Fabbro on the blueline. All three are potential 1st round picks.

I saw that score as well and then saw that Demko only played the 1st period. Backup BC goalie let in all 5 goals.

So St. Clair out for the first half of the season. Always crappy to get that kind of news before the season even officially starts. He's gotta be bummed. Always liked the energy St. Clair brought when he is on the ice.

Originally the reason games were taken off FCS is because of the CBSSN deal. Now a lot of the reason has to do with Midcontinent as mentioned in other posts. Such simpler times when it was WDAZ/Fighting Sioux Sports Network broadcasting the games and FCS was able to pick up their feed. If only they got with the times and made the necessary equipment upgrades. Still remember the days of no PP clock!

Yep. It's a sh*t deal. No way around it. How many years are left in the CBS Sports Net contract? The league should start looking for alternatives. I love the crew the does the CBS Sports games but not that much. Also don't get why the bloody hell Notre Dame's crappy hockey team needs more air time when they already have NBC Sports Network airing their games.

CBS Sports Network didn't release their 2014-2015 NCHC hockey schedule until Sept. 24th, 2014. So I'm guessing we will be hearing something in the next 2-3 weeks? Hopefully sooner....

Not sure I understand the outrage. Baxter Arena isn't that big to begin with. If you are going to fill your arena with people, wouldn't you rather have as many home team fans filling the arena as possible? Does the home team school provide the away team school an allotment of tickets as well? That could be another option as well besides the secondary market(unless of course, this allotment doesn't occur or if it is just available to UND season ticket holders). Either way, it's the inaugural season of their arena. The novelty will wane.
