Spartans put the nail in the coffin by scoring an empty netter. MSU 3 BC 1 FINAL. Congratulations to the Spartans! They deserve it! I didn't want the east to win the title. This is a great win for MSU and the CCHA as a whole.

Thanks to all the people who are reassuring that Oshie isn't leaving. But right now I consider it all hearsay and I'm gonna way until I see him on the ice next season or see an announcement that he signed with the Blues.

Well here's something to be happy about! Even though the season came to an end for the Sioux we at least got something to smile about...Ryan Duncan won the HOBEY!!! woohooo!!! Congrats Ryan you deserve it even though I know you'd rather have won a National Title with the team instead of getting the individual award. Now we have 2 Sioux players who have won the Hobey!! Panzer was robbed?!?!?

Lee gone? I can't imagine seeing him leave. He is not ready to turn pro yet. This year he's been inconsistent at best. He's shown some signs of being a great Defenseman but other times looks like he's still playing high school hockey. I think he'll stay another year at the very least.

Were you watching the game? From what I saw the second line was doing a lot of work. The DOT line was effectively contained and the second line stepped up. One line team? I think not. Two line team? possibly so

I agree the WCHA wasn't as good as it has been the past several years. That can be partially attributed to the huge amount of player defections that came from the conference itself. Every one in the WCHA virtually had what you can call a "young" team. I think Hakstol is just warming himself up to win 3 national championships in a row now!!

I guess there extra faceoff practicing worked out for them pretty well =/

I can agree with you. I'm not even going to watch the championship game now...unless I'm bored and have nothing else better to do. Congrats to BC though and good luck to them winning #3 even though the Spartans got my fan support. Also as I've said before this loss wasn't as stinging and painful as the 1-0 to Denver in the regionals a few years back. That was truly our year IMO!!

The amount of times they showed BC fans during breaks was also very sickening. They showed BC fans 10x more than they showed a Sioux fan. Grossing me out >.<

I agree with you I can't stand Bredahl. My dad and I always call him "Blinky" cause whenever they have the camera on him he's blinking very rapidly.

I voted yes because they look good. Whenever I see the Sioux play in the black jerseys they really have a great presence and look like an army in black outfitting. Looks very cool IMO. The greens are fine but I've always been a fan of the black jersey(s)
