Maybe Omaha should win a few games during the NCC. Funny how these teams are forgetting that UND finished ahead of them in the NCC, even with the screw job in Vermillion. These teams couldn't beat UND WITHOUT Myron in the lineup....so they should just shut the hell up. There are a few whiners on the Bison board too...maybe they should win a few more games. You think it was Myron putting up 28 a game on them and not the Beas. It's not like UND is that good, they are a one man team and they still couldn't beat them. Stop the Beas and UND is not even average!! UND could of have won every game in the NCC if they could shoot free throws. Those teams that are complaining got blown out a few times. They should be happy Myron didn't face them or they would have even more losses and UND would be hosting the regional this weekend.

Better be careful, Money could print enough Bochenski Bucks to pay someone to make you naysayers disappear!

Beasley was named NCC MVP for the second year in a row yesterday. Third year in a row a Sioux player has won it (Kyle Beherns in 2001). Too bad Glas couldn't recruit something to go along with these guys.
-
Pat Sweeney said last night that the games were on cable, I think he meant the FSSN.

How successful are your atheletic programs at Century Elementary doing Siouxrock?
-
So a 19-11 team that plays in a inferior conference compared to the NCC and UND beat quite handily should be ranked ahead of them, once again Siouxrock shows his great knowledge.

The almighty soothsayer has spoken! It must be!!

how much lower of a seed were the men supposed to get?
-
I doubt they were behind Omaha, if they were I am all confused! That would mean the mens tourney counted and the womens didn't! Northern State is a tough call, yes they were #10 in the last poll, but who knows the way teams were jumping around. I just figured the committee would realize what a dogfight the NCC was this year. Six good teams and Mankato had a lot of talent too! I thought NDSU had a very good arguement! I read where that West Division in the RMAC was pretty weak this year. It is just too bad UND and St Cloud have to play each other, they should have switched UND and Ft Lewis so it was two conference matchups in that bracket.

Mens regional: 1-UNK vs. 8-UMD 4-SDSU vs. 5-Ft Hays 2-St Cloud vs 7-UND 3-Metro vs 6 Ft Lewis St. Cloud can't be very happy about seeing UND. They each won on the others home court in close games. Big difference in them facing UND and UNK getting UMD. Surprised to see Ft.Lewis over the Bison. Ft Lewis was 19-11 on the season.

Yes, the NCC women get very screwed because they play each other. The seeds will probably hurt the Sioux for the fact that they are the only ones guaranteed a tougher game in the first round and SDSU should have an easy go of it. I would be VERY surprised if Regis gives them any type of a game, I doubt Regis cab handle that physical type of play. UND, if they even win against UMD, should be a lot more tired than SDSU in the semis. If UND had gotten the three seed, their opponent should have the same type of game the night before.

The NCC tourney is much tougher than any of those teams the Bison beat!! There is not one single arguement against UND being seeded over the Bison. If all the seeds basically stayed the same, WHY IN THE HELL DO THEY PLAY THE NCC TOURNEY? What a JOKE! The Sioux dominate in Frost Arena and end up getting the only worthwhile first round opponent. Why would Kearney drop because of losing a game, but not the Bison?? The Sioux go 4-4 against the Other Big 3 in the NCC, the Bison 2-5. All I can say is WOW!!

The updated mock draft on nbadraft.net now has Beasley projected going to the Nets at the 23rd pick.
-
Kearney women lost today in the RMAC finals to Regis, so that might change the seedings for the women. Metro also beat Ft Hays on the men's side. In the Sun, UMD beat UMC in the womens game and UMD beat Moorhead in the mens.

If the selction committee wants to start being a policing agent and use the Allen situation against UND....then they should also look at the screw job UND got in Vermillion by the scorekeeper and refs. They can't go pulling crap like this. They can't play GOD. If the NCAA, who is the policing agent, didn't punish them, how can a few idiots decide they have the power to do it. Why not punish SDSU for having a couple of players awaiting court dates for drug charges then!! I guess it is ok to do drugs, but not to accept a room and/or food. I can't even imagine how stupid these people are, they still had USD ranked 7th this week. Hell, UND finished third in the NCC and actually with the USD game they finished tied for second. There is no way that UND shouldn't be in the regionals, I don't care what upsets happen or don't happen! The politics in all this is a bunch of crap!!

Maybe Blaiser could be his running mate for Lt. Govenor!

That's next week lesson plan!

If someone was going to kick the TV, I think that would of have already happened!!

Yes, what these two kids have went through is unbelievable. They have experienced as many highs and lows over the past few years as most of us do in a lifetime!
-
I looked at the tape of the game and yes Gene Taylor was sitting right there for the game. I am sure that he is the official that Roebuck was talking about. NDSU's handling of this whole situation is a joke!!! Letting the students get that close is unexcusable. I think fans can get away with quite a bit from a distance, but getting into their face is way out of bounds. Every other team in the NCC has a better set-up than NDSU's. How the NDSU AD Dept. didn't see this coming is beyond me.
-
Only one spelling mistake by Siouxrock, those lessons must be paying off.
-
Tuesday night's loss to NDSU isn't included. I would hope that that would finally knock them out.
-
Obviously these are already greatly different because of last nights NCC tourney games. Pretty much a joke that Kearney is ahead of the UND women though. Kearney would be lucky to finish over .500 in the NCC
