  1. You jump on fellow posters faster than Spitzer jumps a hooker.
  2. All the way down to row 2 and then all the way back up again!? Oh my aching legs!! Tell ya what, you stop by and say hi on your way to your seat.
  3. Sec 119 rows 21 and 22 (or close to there) seats 1-3 and 1-8.
  4. They always have been there.
  5. Booked my room last summer at the Hilton Garden Inn within walking distance of the X for $100/night. No breakfast.
  6. Holy Crap!!! Last time I stayed there, 5-6 yrs ago, the cost was $110./night and that did NOT include hot water! But, you can't beat the location!!
  7. Is there a timeline when the incoming recruits have to commit? Seems kinda late in the year to still not know.
  8. A Canadian? NO WAY!! Last I heard and that was a few weeks ago, the kid hasn't committed anywhere yet. A guy in Ohio was telling me that his team (one of the Michigan teams, I forget which one) was also recruiting him.
  9. I don't know. I was just speculating based on the trend over there in Rodent Land. Given the losing streak the goofs have been experiencing the past few years, like a rat on a sinking ship, I think Kangas may leave before his 'cred' drops any more points.
  10. You're kinda cute when you get uppity. By the way, you look good in green and pink.
  11. Aww c'mon now!! We should be more like goofy fans! A hit face to face is unacceptable. Frattin should miss the rest of the year for that!! A hit to the back of one's head when he is turned away from you is being a 'team player' especially when the rest of your 'team' isn't.....a team. By the way, I think Kangas will be sitting out the next season, as a bench warmer for whatever, if any, minor league team that needs a back up goalie.
  12. Before as in now or at the rink?
  13. I don't like to see the boys lose, ever. BUT, I understand the logic. At least if we lose, we know we're going to the Regionals unlike a team that is below .500 and done, done, done.
  14. The majority of us don't have a problem with the suspension. What would be ideal is to have the WCHA take the next few months to clearly define the rules and educate the refs. Hopefully, the refs make the right calls at the time of the penalty and call them consistently for every game and team. The physical nature of our team's play may change a little but if the rules are enforced by the book and not by the 'opinion', we'll be alright. It's a physical game, hits and checks will occur and they may result in penalties. I don't have a problem with that. I have a problem with the inconsistencies.
  15. Sorry if this has been asked and answered, Are we the home team or visitor Thursday night?
  16. I think their bragging rights are that they recruit finesse hockey players. Problem they're having, IMO, is those finesse hockey players are all individual players who are only out there for themselves, waiting for the call from the AHL or NHL. Team work and tradition mean nothing to them. As stated by our boys year after year, they are playing for the team, the tradition, the crest on the 'sweater' and lastly, the fans. Big difference which was well documented on the ice this past weekend.
  17. The picture clearly shows that both of Matt's blades were on the ice at the time of impact. Heads collided. Charging, hard and fast, without a doubt. The five minute penalty was deserved.
  18. They hate what they fear!! If they weren't afraid of playing the Fighting Sioux, at the Ralph Englestad Arena, in front of 11,000+ Fighting Sioux hockey fans in Grand Forks, North Dakota, they wouldn't expend the energy on all that hate!! This applys to their fan base as well. Gotta love it!! GO SIOUX!! SUCK IT GOPHERS, YOU LOSE!!
  19. Yeah, unfortunately the dodo bird knows nothing about daylight savings time, ergo, your dilemma.
  20. I'll be there with between 2 and 5 others.
  21. They can't print that without a disclaimer.
  22. Matt was going for a big hit on Wehr. He himself said as much. The penalty he was called for initially was right on, charging. The suspension is for skating too fast, hitting too hard, and hurting Wehr. It's written in the goof's training book, 'What Not To Do When Playing Hocky', chapter, 'No Physical Contact With Any Player On The Opposing Team'. I don't condone hitting to injure and I don't believe that was Matt's intent. He wanted to make the goofs wary and intimidate them. He was successful.
