There were a few hundred people in the stands who did give Prp a standing O. We realized that this is his last game in regular season. I am so going to miss his contribution to the team. It took a while before I knew who got hurt, my seats are behind the goalie on the other end. For a while I thought is was Sparky, I only saw the 1 on his jersey. I hope everyone is wrong and it's not a season ending injury.

Since it's GK who is the dispenser of the CBS Sports news story, me thinks that there may be more to it. There likely will be Fighting Sioux supporters who are going to be interviewed. Hopefully, the reporter will be smart enough to ask about current instances of disrespect of the Sioux name not things that happened a generation or more ago. And hopefully he will ask for concrete evidence not vague, 'my feelings are hurt', 'I can't get good grades because of the nickname', 'I'm depressed because of the nickname', etc. Hopefully, he will ask for more than 'perceived' disrespect'. But, regardless of the outcome of this interview, UND will NOT cease to use the name. Very likely we will lose the pending appeal but we will go forward and win BIG in court.

I guess when I read "If the Sioux make the Final Five they make the NCAAs", I read that to mean the Frozen Four. But that's wrong, right? When you refer to the NCAAs what are you referring to? the Regionals?

I was told that Blais did not recruit the Potulnys. Not going to gossip here but the older one did some really stupid, inappropriate things (even for a HS student) that turned more than a few people off. I can only guess that Blais figured the younger wouldn't come if asked but I don't know for sure if that is why he didn't go for him or if there was another reason. As far as Irmen goes, don't know. I think he got the tour but don't know if he got an invite.
