I don't know the facts here but feel extremely sorry for Hagemo and his family. I hope if he does have a problem this is his 'bottom' and he gets the help he needs.

I'm hoping that the rivalry between the teams will bring out the best of our boys. The Gophers are struggling right now. That should work to our advantage and the week end should end with a Sioux sweep. Unfortunately, our boys, too, are struggling at times but, for the life of me, I don't understand why. The talent of our players should be visible every time they hit the ice. It's not.

Trupp is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. And not because he's wearing the #19. He had a few seconds of stick handling while dodging around a Seahawk about three times that made him look like a little Jonathan Toews. Didn't result in a goal but was still real pretty to watch! The officiating did not favor the Sioux. At one point in front of Philippe, there was a Seahawk behind Trupp who put his arms around him and pulled him backward and off his feet. This happened in front of the ref. Maybe the ref's view was screened by a player but as stated this type of thing went on all weekend. There were also things our boys did that they got away with. To think that the officiating was in the Siouxs' favor is laughable.

Thank makes sense because it's a great cause!! But, can you see ANY fan wearing that? I see where the seller is 'targeting' it for a femaile fan! She would be laughed out of her kindergarten class if she showed up in that monstrosity!!

Philippe did a good job last night. Was he one of the top three? Probably not, IMHO. I am sooooo impressed by our freshman and only see a bright future for the team 'cause they're maturing so fast and doing so well!! Props to our coaches!! TJ, Andrew, Evan, Chay, Joe all had a great night. But those Seahawks had a lot of near misses that would have resulted in goals had it not been for Philippe. The Seahawks goalie had a GREAT night. His first WCHA game, third string goalie and facing the Fighting Sioux in our house!!!!!! Good job on holding the Sioux to only three goalls!!
