IMO the big difference between Michigan's home ice advantage is they get the regionals at Yost. While Minnesota had the home crowd advantage, the team had to play at the Excel which is a small sheet of ice. Gophers play better on the large ice surface. Its all good. Just play the game and score more goals than the other team. That way you never have anything to complain about.

Don't be so bitter, it's not that long of a drive and you will have a good time in the cities if the Sioux have the good fortune of making it. I wouldn't worry about the attendance, when we had the regional two years ago, (Minnesota was not in it) Mariucci was full. Granted there were alot of Wisc. fans, but Mariucci was full.

Does anyone have any info if UND will be bidding for the extra West Regional for 2003. Minnesota is waiting on word from the NCAA on when they can submitt their bid. If we don't get it, I hope its at the Ralph. Two games a year is more than enough at at the Kohl Center.

With Blais running your program, no way do you have to worry about empty seats. If you think about the underclassmen you lost for last season and all the freshman you played, it really wasn't a bad season. You lost alot of close games and next year you will be in the hunt for one of those top three spots in the WCHA tourney.

Is that a student price or a public sale price? Either way it is a great deal. I know I have to pay a little more that that for my season tickets.

If we can't jump on each others board and polk a little fun, what is the sense in calling it a rivalry.

Sprig, Dislike us all you want come next fall. Thats the way it should be. I don't like UND either, but when they are playing teams outside of the WCHA I will pull for them.

With Taffe and Vaneck, edge to Mn. With one of them, slight edge to Mn. with both gone a toss up. Defense will be in Mn. favor because of Ballard and Martin. Goalies, this could be a thread on its own. We do not have a third goalie at this point for next year. Neither Johnson or Weber has proven anything. You have two coming back next year that not shown they can do the job night in night out. Your new goalie is just that. A new goalie, who knows. This is not a slam, but I will miss the green at the X this week-end. Your fans are normally fun to be around during the tournement. Unlike SCCC, or Wisky fans.
