What is sad is that so many great Sioux fans have bailed from this site recently and we are left with the short sighted nausea of trolls such as this. For those of you who are new, this same individual was preaching a similar demise for the Sioux prior to the arrival of Toews and Oshie. Bucky I won the debate regarding JT versus your one year wonder, would you care to have a round II. My prediction is that DT will be an extremely succesful DI player. The game was too easy for JT and he tended to play down to the level of the competiton. DT has to work a little harder than big brother for the results and we all know what hard work leads to in the WCHA. A good old game of spank the Gophers.

This is laughable. In fact, as a counter, without altitude on their side there is now way that Denver would have beat the Sioux 1-0 in the Regional Championship game we would all like to forget. Some of you will recall the effects that the altitude in C Springs had on some of the key players like Bochenski.

One thing I noted from both games this weekend was the play of Chorney. I can't see how he wouldn't at least be the WCHA D of the week, without knowing what transpired in other leagues, perhaps even NCAA player of the week.

The Husky made the mistake of sticking his stick into Oshie. Oshie just made sure that he couldn't pull the stick back out before the Officials saw it.

It was a violent hit which by itself would be a penalty for international play but that was a good clean North American style hit. Send it to Don Cherry and it might make one of his videos.

Exactly, Oshie had a full head of steam but he was no longer taking strides nor did he leave his feet hence Clean Hit.

He didn't get the assist but he probably did the most work in the Husky end that led to it.

Why do think that was charging. I saw the replay and Oshie didn't leave his feet. I think Dobson was too busy admiring his shootout instead of preparing for the inevitable - a clean Sioux hit.
