  1. What kind of an idiot puts a player on this team without a single NCAA shift. I can't wait to see the Goofs Mr. Media pummeled by each and every WCHA team.
  2. Ooops, sorry about that. What position did she play.
  3. Sports Illustrated probably pulled his position off the depth chart because he is definitely the left winger. He had the nicest assist of the game on Spezza's goal against Pittsburgh last night although it isn't mentioned in this brief article. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=138170
  4. Cmon what do you expect. Fox Sports knows as much about hockey as your grandmother, and even less about college hockey.
  5. The big school bias for that matter
  6. It would have been nice to have the son of another former NHLer (Garth Butcher) on the team and he has already been drafted by the Vancouver Canucks. http://insidecollegehockey.com/7Archives/N...draft2_0345.htm
  7. Sorry about that, I didn't realize that the local channel was showing a delayed broadcast.
  8. After two periods he already has a goal and assist in tonights game.
  9. Bo looked great in yesterdays team scrimmage notching both a goal and an assist. I will be shocked if he doesn't stick.
  10. I wonder if he squealed too?
  11. As has been previously speculated Money is playing left Wing in the Ottawa training camp. In a city newspaper today, the coach and GM said they like his chances and have him playing on the line with Spezza at center and Heatley as his Right Wing. Can't wait to see them play.
  12. I'll take a complete player like Toews over Kessel anyday and anytime you are talking a D-man taken in the top 10 of the first round like Lee you can scratch off two of the MN pick-ups not just one. Furthermore, just the sheer volume of blue chip players coming to the Sioux negates the pick-ups of the Goofs. Finally, we'll see whether Frazzled does as well in the WCHA traffic.
  13. What are they smoking at INCH. I would rate the incoming Sioux talent as the the #1 of all time let alone this season.
  14. I believe it has already been discussed in a previous thread that Martens was this years successful walk-on.
  15. We won't have room for all of them but I agree that Taylor and Seabrook have the potential to do extremely well this year.
  16. The most talented D-man to ever lace them up for the Sioux announced his retirement from hockey today. http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/news_story.asp?id=135676
  17. Actually, Skippy was discussing the Canadian Hockey League (Major Junior in Canada) but in typical Skippy fashion he didn't have his facts straight and may have mislead you by talking about 23 year old players. He must have done some homework since because in another thread he now realizes that there a couple of dozen 20 year olds in the league playing with hundreds of teenagers, many of which are only 16. In his post he also believes that the CHL is still far superior based on results from a decade and more ago. If he dug a little deeper he would realize that the league in question is watered down due to its own expansion and the expansion of professional hockey. Additionally, in the past several years, the elite hockey teams of the NCAA has been attracting traditional CHL talent so when you factor in the age difference they are now just as good or better then the top CHL teams.
  18. Interesting that State of Hockey gets active at the same time as this new football ignoramus. I smell a rat, no make that a Gopher with two IDs out trolling.
  19. I was gentle the first time I read one of your posts but now it time for you to get a real North Dakota education from a Canuck. Rebuttal is as follows
  20. If you are only interested in the football team what are you doing here. We've got boards to keep us in play so please stay between the lines.
