As difficult as it is to say I think Wisconsin will go 2-0 and I agee with Michigan State 0-2. The latter has a bunch of injuries and they are playing poorly too.

I am not suggesting any what if's, merely stating reality. There is just too much talent that will all have at least one year of experience under its belt to add anyone else. Which is why I think a two way player like Chay Genoway was the only way to go. He provides the extra insurance both ways for a team that should lose very few of its players next year. I should have added that he will play every night with BU which if he wants a fast track to the NHL will likely serve him better.

The info regarding the draft is for the most part correct as most of the time it is 18 year olds. However, every so often a college player who was overlooked as an 18 year old but turns in a banner season while in college is drafted so that a team can own his rights following college. The most recent example is Paul Stastny of Denver.

Based on both experience and talent I still believe that Wisconsin has to be favored to win the WCHA. Hak will likely skate the team real hard this week to rectify Saturdays big letdown so I remain hopefully they will come out fired up and at least take Fridays game.
