Rebounding is a lot about effort. Effort was pretty poor in that regard last night. Like I said, for the most part I thought they played pretty well last night. It showed that there is talent there. Now can Jones get the most out of that talent on a consistent basis? So far the answer is no. I am confident they will improve over the next two months. And after all that is all that matters. These first 11 games all mean nothing right? If it doesn't matter how we perform against Minnesota and NDSU, it certainly doesn't matter how we perform against Marquette or UNI........

I would really like for Hooker to be more of a scorer. I feel he is the best overall player on the team. He is one of the few guys that can finish and if he can draw fouls, he is one of the few guys that can hit his free throws.

0-6 against Weber. I think they are the only Big Sky team we haven't beaten yet. Kind of important to be able to beat Weber if you want to vet into the Tourney..........

Won't win many giving the opponent 17 extra possessions. It is the same as a turnover......

We we're out rebounded 46-28 and they had 17 offensive rebounds. And it is not like this was Minnesota that physically overmatched us in a big way. They have a couple talented bigs but we have a couple capable bigs as well as some athletic small forwards. This is what is so frustrating about this program. A game like this one proves that there is talent on the roster, and yet we can chalk up another loss to lazy rebounding and poor free throw shooting. I am pretty sure that this team will continue to get better, but tonight was another missed opportunity.
