That's where I am at with it too. Going to make a day of it in GF for basketball and hockey, otherwise I would probably have it on one of the TVs if I were home. Hats off to NDSU for what they have accomplished regardless of whether they win or lose on Saturday.........

They are not a horrible matchup for North Dakota by any means, but based on how UND has played so far this year I would say the only edge that the Sioux have is the fact the game is in Grand Forks. Both teams are very guard oriented and they are the two worst rebounding teams in the league. Sac can be deadly from beyond the arc, and is a very unselfish team that leagues the league in assists. In contrast, UND is last in the league in assists and second to last 3pt FG%. The Hornets are second in the BSC in FT%, while UND is second to last in that category. I expect a close game..

Well we all knew the Griz game would be an uphill battle what with the 15 degree temperature difference and all........ Seriously though, I would say the weekend was a solid start to conference play.

NAU does a good job as well. We and them are heads and shoulders above e the rest....

Good to start off conference play with a win and on the road to boot. Shanks showed some skills. Would like to see a 7 footer get more than two rebounds with the minutes he played today. Hooker played great today with 16 pts, 5 reb, and 4 assists. That is the type of game we need him to have. Nash has been somewhat absent the last few games.

How about the defense graphic? That is awesome. Gets me fired up every time....

You ar dead wrong darell. OOC means nothing. Nada. Zilch. Could have just as well played 15 scrimmages against local high school teams until conference play started.

Actually I thought it was only the conference tournament games that matter. I get so confused as to which games count and which ones don't........

Rebounding is a lot about effort. Effort was pretty poor in that regard last night. Like I said, for the most part I thought they played pretty well last night. It showed that there is talent there. Now can Jones get the most out of that talent on a consistent basis? So far the answer is no. I am confident they will improve over the next two months. And after all that is all that matters. These first 11 games all mean nothing right? If it doesn't matter how we perform against Minnesota and NDSU, it certainly doesn't matter how we perform against Marquette or UNI........

I would really like for Hooker to be more of a scorer. I feel he is the best overall player on the team. He is one of the few guys that can finish and if he can draw fouls, he is one of the few guys that can hit his free throws.
