Montana gets a 13 seed and will face Syracuse. UND opponents SDSU is also a 13 seed while Kansas St. is a 4 seed.

I think Traylor will have the biggest impact next season. At least we saw enough of him that we know he is capable of contributing. I think if he and Brekke are available for an entire season, it would do wonders. It is rare to have two offensively skilled post players at this level.

That was a great performance tonight. Gut-wrenching Way to end the season, but the final 60 minutes of basketball on the season by this team was superb. Thank you to the entire team and staff for an exiting season. And a special thanks is to the seniors that have bled for this program. Can't wait until next year.

Game is 6:30 tonight, and on Big Sky TV as usual. The Sioux are 9.5 point underdogs to Weber. If they play for 40 minutes tonight the way we did for the last 20 minutes last night, we will be right there for the upset. Weber is the most athletic team in the league, but we are the second most athletic. If we bring our A game, we can play with anybody. Go Sioux!

Well, as of tonight, North Dakota joins Weber St. and Montana as the only Big Sky schools with winning records. Knocking off Weber tomorrow would guarantee a winning season.....

Huff had 15 pts and 7 rebounds but Wilmer was even better with 11 points and 14 rebounds.

Nice way to head into the semis. One of the better 20 minutes we have played all year. Play like that against Weber and they will do just fine.

It was ugly in the first half, but the first 8 minutes of the 2nd have been some of the prettiest basketball I've seen all season. Keep it up boys..............

I'd say that he has to. The cupboard is going to be left pretty bare after the 2013-14 season, aside from Hooker and Benton. To his credit, this year not withstanding, Jones has done a pretty good job with JUCOs. Emmanual Little, Earvin Youmens, and OJ Harrison were all good players that he brought in. Obviously this year didn't work out so well, but the little we did get to see Traylor, he was productive.

I also agree that winning the tournament or even advancing to the championship game is a long shot at best. By virtue of finishing in 3rd place and 4 games above .500 in the conference season, I'd declare this season a success, especially given the make-shift roster that Jones had to work with for much of the season. However, I do think UND has proven that they can play with teams at the level of Weber and Montana. They beat the Griz a year ago. They beat NDSU last year, who is playing for the Summit Championship tonight. That was basically the same team a year ago. They had this year's Summit champ beaten without our best player if not for a missed free throw and a miraculous shot to end the game. Coach Jones typically has his teams playing their best basketball at the end of the season. This particular group in the Junior class is now 23-13 in the months of February and March. I'm not about to predict that the Sioux will find themselves playing in the championship game come Saturday night, but I certainly would not be at all surprised if they were.
