Is today the day we find out about Ezra and his decision? Thinking it has to be soon!
-
What is your angle with all the negativity towards the recruits? I guess I don't understand your point. Who do you think they should be bringing in?
-
Get back to us after the weekend. There are some big bodies coming in.
-
Not an expert on RB's but I would say Simmons, maybe. Walker - No. When you look at the best backs in FCS, they all got power and shake, quick feet. Not all have top-end burner speed but they are fast enough to run away for awhile before getting caught. Zenner would be the exception to that comment. I personally question whether we have any backs like that on our roster, None of them seem to be very dynamic. Maybe Sharp will be, who knows. You look at guys like DJ Adams and Bauman, not burners by any means but they are so quick through the hole and electric, make guys miss.
-
Not to be mean but UND needs better RB's than him. They have similar backs to him now. Need that next level game breaker that can make plays on their own, make guys miss.
-
This is a recruiting thread. STFU about past history.
-
You are obviously tied into the situation and we appreciate the clarification. This is pretty much what a few of us stated and the exact opposite of the sad lies that were put out on BV. It is quite apparent that both UND and UNI want Ezra badly. He is the exact type of defensive lineman that UND needs to turn this thing around in a hurry.
-
I am hearing UND may have cooled on him a bit.
-
I will proceed to tell the truth: NDSU did not offer him. Visited with him many times but never offered. I believe UND offered a partial and got him.
-
While I agree with what you said that we probably take it a bit too serious, there is also no reason to lie about how a situation went down. Burgundy, and then Sam completely made up their story about how ES handled it. I don't know if they are insecure about losing him or what. The truth is that NDSU visited him on Monday night, not last night (Wednesday) as they claim. He called them last night to tell them he is not coming there.
-
Who said UNI was a partial?
-
They did. But pulled it last night.
-
Thanks for the documentary on FU strength.
-
Love it! Kid is a good player. ND kid.
-
Nothing to do with UND. Addressing your estimation of him. Also, you dont think NDSU has a few advantages going for them right now. You act like UND has the upper hand. Funny thing is Ezra hasnt even committed to UND and all this is going on.
-
LOL! That is some Essential Butthurt folks. Cant make it up. Oh, and I think you are overvaluing Menard. Not nearly as big as most think.
-
Didn't take long for their fan base to turn on him. Couple good quotes over at BV already.
-
Absolutely false. Almost laughable at the arrogance. Burgundy over on Bisonville completely spun the thing like NDSU walked away when it was the opposite. The kid ruled them out, not the other way around. So now they are spinning it as the coaches told him that "they are moving on". Really? The night before he is going to pick a college CK decided he is going to "move on"? If I was CK I would "move on" too when a kid tells me he isn't coming to my school. LOL. You can change the head coach but the arrogance will always be there.
-
He is talking about Elsner, I think.
-
So they are essentially admitting that their new coaching staff is unable to overcome a full ride offer with their own 66% offer, even though they have just won three national championships, hosted Gameday, and have about every recruiting advantage there is right now. I would think all those things they got going on would be worth more than $5000. Interesting.
-
DT and DE are the same thing in a 3-4. There are only two of them on the field.
-
My sources are telling me he is visiting UTEP this weekend (no idea why) and then will be making his decision. We are in his final 3-4 and have a shot. How good of one, no idea. Kid is good. Also, about Ezra. UNI has had Bryce Paup (DL Coach - NFL player) recruiting him hard. At this point I feel like UNI is a bigger threat to us than NDSU. That may sound crazy but it is formulated from very good information. If UND can somehow, someway, get Ezra and Elsner. Wow! The defensive line just started to look the part.
-
The half-ride is probably true although I have heard it is actually 66%, close enough though. NDSU already had his commitment so UND had to come back with a better offer, especially with a completely new staff that started in January. To me as a UND fan it's worth every penny if we get the kid. They can be cheap, fine with me. If they offered a full UND would not be in it.
