I am trying to get good closeup pictures of the black Swift jerseys from either last year or this year. I am hoping to get a good picture of Toews, Oshie, JPL, and Duncan's jerseys in particular. All I need is a closeup of the number and name. If you own a Swift and would not mind sending me a closeup of the back of the jersey please PM me. I am going to be bringing a jersey into the Siouxshop to have it customized. Do they have name plates? If not where can I get one for a white authentic jersey? Also will they put the assistant captain 'A' on the jersey? Thanks

Contrary to many people's belief, sports/hockey do not make up a persons life. Many of us love sports and have had to give them up because of injury, talent, or the end of our eligibility. Drugs and addiction are very separate in my opinion. It sucks that he lost the opportunity to play professionally, but hockey also opened doors to him that many people never walk through. I hope that he gets the treatment he needs and can separate himself from the negative influences he allowed into his life.

According to the press release Friday is Mr. Hockey night at the Ralph with Gordie Howe dropping the puck.

I think it is time to sit Chorney. Forget JPL he has played OK, not great but descent. I remember when no one on the team was above getting the night off...I even remember when Jason Blake was not dressed and not because of an arrest but simply because he wasn't playing to his ability. Sit Chorney, let him see the game in street clothes and then see what kind of defenseman you get back next weekend!

Everyone likes Oshie, is excited about his return to the ice Saturday, and supports him but that does not excuse him from putting himself in poor situations. One time...oops, two times...oops, please don't let there be three! Learn from your past because your future is too good to mess up!

The defense was poor in the 3rd period again. But I think a lot of this has to be on the coaching staff. Maybe not tonight directly but for the past 4 seasons they have created a culture where we don't dominate every game we can we simply play hard and falsely believe we will magically turn it on when it counts. Loosing more than we should every season (first half especially) and still making the frozen four has been lucky and should not be considered a recipe for success. After all we haven't won it all since 2000. So maybe the turn it on when it counts approach is not as effective as the play smart, play hard all season approach.

I know that the Sioux frequently have former players back to sign autographs before games. I was wondering if there are any scheduled appearances...maybe as quests of the Subway Holiday Classic?
