Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been placed on injured reserve and will miss a minimum of four weeks due to a lower-body injury sustained representing Canada at the Olympics, the team announced Wednesday. Crosby was hurt against Czechia in the quarterfinals and missed his country's next two games as Canada lost the gold-medal game to the United States in overtime. The Penguins return from the Olympic break holding the second spot in the Metropolitan Division with 70 points. Crosby leads the team with 59 points in 56 games

Funny he had no complaints after beating the Czechs in overtime during 3 on 3. And if I remember right he had a minute and a half of 5 on 3 and came up empty

Bill Guerin deserves a lot of credit. He built a winning team. Maybe not the 20 best American players, but the 20 that fit the best and could win. He added grit instead of glitz. Going 18/18 on penalty kills, including a 90-second 5v3 in the gold medal game is the mark of a good team with grit and toughness.
