If Minot plays the way they did against Century last Friday they will beat Red River. They were flawless and that first line with Flom and Fuchs were clicking on all cylinders. They ran out of juice satruday against Bismarck and it showed. Bismarck really has a chance to bring the title west. Skilled and physical.

As a coach of this great game I couldn't agree more.

My nephew has some big shoes to fill with Brock Jensen done but I'm confident he is up for the challenge. Highly doubt we will ever see a more dominating team at this level ever again. Unbelievable how they rolled through everybody in the playoffs. This was their closest game. Wow.

If this is the loss that kick starts them to #8 then yes an asterisk will be needed.

I agree. I just hate how some posters are making excuses for this loss. As a coach of this great game I always told my players after a loss I don't want to hear any excuses as excuses are for losers.

Once a player puts on that jersey he should be pumped up and give his best regardless of who is on the other bench.

Terrible effort by the US in the 3rd. Russia clogged the middle and couldn't get good looks in close. Special teams were the difference and the reffing was iffy at best. I blame Lucia.
