A song that gets me really charged up is the Eminem song at the beginning of the game when they turn the lights off. They play the song and then show a bunch of highlights from championship seasons in the past. Holy crap! I get chills just thinking about it.

It doesn't matter where I am or what wedding I am at everytime I hear "The Beer Song" all I think about is sitting at the old Ralph on a wood bench having the best time of my life.

I went on that USCHO site once to look for some tickets and all I found was a bunch of blowhards on there spewing how good their team is and I can't imagine that all of a sudden someone is just going to admit their team sucks and the other team is better. I post on this site because I can be a homer and this is a site that homers would typically post. If I wanted to hear that my team was no good I would just go over to my Gopher friends house and get verbally abused and then go home.

Grand Seven is on the corner of Grand Ave and West Seventh. Decent bar for getting a beer and a burger. I'm not attached to it so I can go anywhere. I'm still buzzing from lastnight. Not in an alcohol sense but with anticipation of Thursday. We got some solid goaltending two nights in a row and that hasn't happened in a long time. Glad to hear everyone made it home safely lastnight. Also, thanks for the great chatter in the threads. My wife isn't that great of company when it comes to sports so it was nice to have an outlet. From the sounds of the game on Sunday I got the feeling that Jake really kept this team in the game. I heard things like "game saving saves" and things along that nature so I would be disappointed to see somebody else in goal this upcoming weekend. Nice work Jake!!

I will honestly be at the Grand Seven on Thursday so I will hook up with whomever is there.
