Who says the NFL is a year round sport with all the events such as the draft to the training camp and then eventually the regular season. All the posts on this board with all the great updates allowed me to get up to speed on the state of the Sioux in about ten minutes. I of course new the biggest news items but there was also a lot of good information that I had no clue about. This hockey team gets better chat room discussions than most professional teams do. Keep up the good work regulars who constantly update the uniformed with whats going on in GF!!

I am going to miss the big time risks you would take when our team was down and needed a lift. Usually when the goalie is pulled you feel as if it was a last gasp of desperation but I have seen it succeed more than I have seen it fail. In the final five game this year against the rodents when you pulled the goalie and then put him back in on the fly by the reaction of rodent fans around me you had everyones respect in that arena. Thanks for being a great coach that gave the Sioux a chance to win every game!

I'm not on the ledge about this news. I just understand the fact that UND went through some crap years until Blais came and interjected some life back into that program. Yes, UND does have a great hockey tradition and sometimes that helps the recruiting process but Blais recruited and recruited well. I'm not even feeling like I'm streatching when I say that Dean built that beautiful arena as well as put ND on the map in terms of the talent that was coming out of the high schools. He made hockey an attraction in ND at the university level as well as the high school level. I really really hope that they take a careful look at who is going to be the next coach and examine what made Blais successful and fill the position with the person who has those similar attributes. He was a special coach and the next coach has huge shoes to fill. I wish him the best of luck.

I feel as if the rug has been pulled out from underneath me. I have already started calling gopher fans so I can take the heckling head on rather have it lingering through out the summer. First Parise and then Blaise and now we are hearing Bochenski might be out of here too? I second the drink comment.

It probably took him as long to write that note as it takes for his pizzas to be delivered. In my best estimation it probably took about two hours. I ordered it after Fridays game when I came down for the CC game in February. I was worried that I was going to have to eat it on my way to Saturdays game because it took so long to be delivered.

Thats good about Yahoo because that was the first thing I tried to do today as well. I am really bummed about him leaving. I knew the day would come but I was hoping it would either happen after a championship or at least until after his Junior year.

If I wasn't going to Vegas on 3/25 with my a-hole gopher friends I probably wouldn't talk to them for at two weeks. The gophs fans have excuses for every loss and ....ah hell I don't have the energy to even discuss these people anymore.

Its going to be nice to let all these other teams fight out tomorrow night to get to the final five. As much as I would like to see the Sioux have an easy path to the final five championship.... jeez does Blais have a high speed internet connection on the bench to get those scores so quckly. Was he even coaching our game? Anyway I really hope all the other top seeds win their games so it's a competitive weekend.

Thats exactly what I'm doing. Saving a bit of money. It hurts to pay $5 for a beer at the Xcel but it just "tastes so good when it hits your lips".

I know I see he gets hooked a lot but I never have really noticed the other stuff.

I have seen about ten of Parise's games the past two year so I don't really know this answer but does he really get pounded. I just keep hearing how he gets abused every game. Is this true or is a biased opinion?

I see. I live five minutes from the Xcel so I am just sitting here waiting for my team to advance so I watch them play. Every year I buy final five tickets and every year the Sioux make we sweat it out. I just want this to be over with and the Sioux advancing.

I know they aren't bad but with all the bickering that goes on between the two factions who knows anymore. Marty you better not be a season ticket holder sitting here typing with us internet listeners.
