Isn't it nice that even when the USA pounds a team, people still find things to complain about? I myself couldn't give a crap less if Kessel got a whole bunch of points against a creampuff. He's a helluva player and some people are giving him way too much grief just because he normally wears an M. He may be a "bad guy" most of the year, but having Kessel on this team is what makes the USA the favorites whether people here like it or not. I myself am pretty happy about it. Kessel deserves credit for every point he got whether it be against a crappy team or not. What was he supposed to do? Refuse to go on the ice when his line was up? If anyone deserves crap, it's Walt Kyle for playing Kessel and Borque so much. But even that is questionable. If it had been The Oshie with the 5 assists setting up Borque, people would be ranting and raving about how great he was and how he was better then Kessel. No one would be complaining about the amount of time he was on the ice either.

The amount of money I would have paid to see Dion Phaneuf to pound that little turd.

So is it more of a cheering for the underdog? If you cheer for the Russians against anyone at anytime, you should be shot.

Why do Canadians so dislike the USA and cheer against them? I'd never cheer against the Canucks unless they are playing the USA. The whole political thing? Being considered the US' little brother?

Good job USA hockey. The game is coming in oh so well! Got about a minute of the pregame and then it went to all static. And as soon as I whine about it, it comes back and The Oshie scored.

That mask is bada$$. One of the Sioux goalies needs to "borrow" that design.

You only get a plus/minus when you are on the ice for a even strength or shorthanded goal. If you are on the ice for a PP goal, you don't get a plus/minus.

Glad everyone is jumping on the The Oshie Bandwagon now. I was on it after the Manitoba game.

To say Zach Jones was mad is the understatement of the year. I have never seen a player as upset as he was. He nearly punched one of the linesman, did punch Porter and had to be dragged to the box/bench by his teammates. I don't know what happened, but he was about seven levels beyond pissed off.

I believe Charter carries all Bemidji home games, so there may be some way to get fridays game somewhere via satelite. Looking at this link it sounds like the game is being broadcast statewide on Charter.

And isn't it great? There is a Subway on every damn block in this town, so we obviously needed ten more within the Ralph.

Those Barbians are employeed for the Christmas season though. That's a plus.

Where does eveeryone else have tickets for? Bemidji people are saying that the game is sold out, but we were able to get tickets yesterday through the BSU ticket office. It seems like there could be anywhere from 1000-3500 people at this game from all the differing stories.

So why does it matter if UND wore black jerseys? It's there a reason it matters? What were you looking for by starting this thread? Does the color of the jerseys mean something?

I sure hope so. I'm planning on picking up tickets at the door so they better have tickets available. I'd be pretty pissed off if I drove 10 hours and couldn't go to the games. I looked up past games and it seems like the UND-Tech are 75% capacity at the most in Houghton so I'm pretty certain tickets will be available. Only the Winter Carnival and NMU games sell out at Tech.

That's the point.

But think if other people did cheer! It would make it even tougher for teams to come into REA. I think it's just frustrating to a lot of students, and other people for that matter, that there seem to be a lot of people, many of them students, who come to the games and pick their noses instead of paying attention or caring about the game. We can't do anything about it really; we can't force these people to care about the games, so we complain here.
