I just find it funny that Sioux-cia was compared to Mother Theresa.

Half of the reason why Gopher fans called for Mason's head was because of how much of a jerk the guy was. Sure he improved the team, but he was very arrogant. He acted towards Gopher fans much like those Gopher fans are acting towards Bohl. Bohl may be loved at NDSU, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't leave. The two situations are different but being loved at UND didn't prevent Dean Blais from leaving. So you never know.

Bohl would be helluva better coach than Mason. Gopher dans are just being snobs about it. They are gonna get some big name unless they pay though the nose. They could get Bohl for relatively cheap.

I believe they are wrong. It was discussed before this game that the US need to win in regulation to be the #2 seed. A Regulation win is worth 3 points. A OT/Shootout win is worth 2 points and an OT lose is worth 1 point. The Swedes had two regulation wins and a loss for a total of 6 points before today's game. They lost in OT and therefore got one point. They now have 7 points. The USA had one regulation win, one OT loss and one loss for a total of 4 points. They got 2 points today for an OT win. They now have 6 points.

WTG THUG JOHNSON!!! Perhaps being the third seed is a good thing as now the US avoids the Russians should they win their QF game against Finland. Just looking at scores it looks like Russia is the best team in the tournament, though I think they were in the weaker pool. Though with what Rich is saying, who knows what seed the US is.

Should it have been icing though? Sounds like it was really close.

Blamed the ref for last night's game sucking but maybe it wasn't him. Both of Dartmouth's games have been boring.

Whether or not he's been kicked off the team, it's no surprise he isn't in the lineup tonight. From the sounds of it, he literally did absolutely nothing last night on the ice. He just skated around.

Walz going into the net and the puck being out of sight were nearly simultaneous. By the time the ref blew the whistle, Walz was in the net with the puck so even if the ref blew the whistle when he lost sight of the puck. Since Walz/the puck were in the net before the whistle blew on the review it became a goal.

It was and should've been a goal. Though I'm suprised it was called that way. Even though everyone and their mother knew the puck was in the net because Walz ended up totally in the net, since it went into Walz's breezers you couldn't see it in the net.

Thanks! I try my best. It's a good thing I wouldn't actually do that though. Then I'd be weird. I don't need his card. Cards are for 10 years olds to collect. I want things that are ultimately just as worthless but take up way more room!
