Looks like the Sioux have the right attitude and right amount of confidence going into tomoorow's game! It starts with confidence and attitude... Looking for great things this weekend. GO SIOUX!!!

Absolutely right. Sit him out as long as Rob is out. Like I mentioned in a different thread, not soon enough and not long enough. I figure it's a move to pacify everyone that is pissed off over the cheap hit. What took so long for him to make that decision? Coach Gwoz mentions that is not Pioneers hockey (referencing the hit). Could've fooled me. Yeah, big freakin deal... Bemidji... Ohhhh I ask myself, "Should I still be ticked off over the cheap shot, the injury to Bina and how the WCHA and Denver has handled this whole affair?" I answer back, "Damn right I should be." (I really don't talk to myself that often. )

CSTV I seen where Sprig had mentioned that Punkovich was suspended for the Bemidji game. Here's the link to the story on CSTV. I can't say anything bad about the action except that it is not soon enough and not long enough...

Sagard, I whole heartedly agree with you. My son (who is a squirt) was checked from behind into the boards during a practice by another boy on his team. The other boy's father is one of the coaches and he took his son off the ice for the remainder of practice and gave his son a hell of a chewing out. My son was fine, shook it off and kept practicing with no ill effects (thank God). However, you would think that DU's coach would've done something along those lines of chewing his player out, benching him or something to engrain in his pea sized brain that crap like that is intolerable. My wife and I have reviewed that hit on Bina more than several times. It is horrifying and sickening to see him hurt in such a way. Unfortunately, even though these hits should be avoided and not tolerated, injuries do occur in sports such as hockey. We worry for our boys always but you can't stop enjoying life and the game of hockey or something else one might enjoy. I agree that whatever admiration one may have for Gwozdecky was certainly diminished after that game. The whole thing reminds me of the Bertuzzi deal. Sickening... Thoughts and prayers for Rob and the Bina family from ours. Godspeed for a fully recovery!

Taking a quick minute to catch up on what had happened yesterday since I was in Detroit for the CCHA I am just shocked to hear what had happened. I had video taped the game and seen what happened to Bina. Reading on the various sites about the game and on the INCH site where the Michigan Tech AD Yeo stated,

Amen to that! Thoughts and prayers for Rob and his family!

I've been viewing the posts between meetings yesterday and today. It is indeed a great day to be a Sioux fan!! Got to watch the game last night on the tube at home. It's not often I can watch a Sioux game here. Always a great experience. Although nothing can beat the experience of a live game. I envy those of you who are in the Twin Cities. ENJOY!! (Not that you need an excuse to have a cold one and you don't know me, but hey... have a drink for me will ya...) I'll be at the CCHA Super Six the rest of the weekend so I have to tape the games for the rest of the Final Five. But I will be wearing my BLACK Fighting Sioux jersey tonight at the Joe representing the best team in D1 hockey. I look forward to the many smart ass remarks I'll get from other team's fans. I feel good about the Sioux's chances this afternoon. Denver is by no means invincible... Hopefully they'll annouce the scores from the WCHA games at tonight's CCHA games. If and when they do and they announce that the Sioux beat the Pios everyone will know I'm there. Go Fighting Sioux!!!

I voted that UND will take it all in the Final Five. Realistic? Maybe not considering what they're up against with UD and CC. The WCHA is just tough all the way around. But you have to always hope for the best. What do you have if you don't have hope? (That's a sorry ass cliche) Always gotta go with the Sioux. Fighting Sioux this Saturday night!
-
I would think that takes a bit of class to recognize that. You probably wouldn't get that from other announcers...
-
St. Paul bound! The team deserves to celebrate tonight!! They struggled most of the season but what matters is now! Fight on Sioux!!!
-
Missed it with this great audio... Another great game for the Sioux! Wonder how many "fans" are starting to head out? 8 minutes left...
-
They're putting lots of pressure on Johnson. Wonder how long it'll take before he cracks and we score?
-
For those who can watch the UND game, does it look like a good crowd that's into the game? Let's close up this series on a positive note this 3rd period!
-
Michigan scores on a 4-4. Puts the game away against the Irish. They're going to the Super Six. So much for helping the Sioux in the PWR. I've never liked Notre Dame!!!
-
Good 2nd period... Sounds like everyone is doing their part to get a victory. Let's roll into the 3rd strong!
-
Michigan and Norte Dame tied at 0-0 at the end of regulation. Does anyone care? It's the only game I can get on t.v. next to my computer...
-
Closed it out and reopened. Back on. Thanks! Did I miss anything?
-
Did any one else's audio feed from 96.1 just turn into some type of demonic type of audio? How can I hear if the Sioux score again. Rotten feed...
-
TH says UND has to go for the throat... I concur!!
-
Goal 4 by Canady! Great period!! Go Sioux!!!!
-
Goal #3 by Genoway! Momentum is all Sioux this period!!
-
Capitalize on the PP!! Make it 3!
-
My My! Goal #2. Let's keep it going!
