Would expect to have to wait some time to get another high ender out of the CHL. Chyzyk and Jackson have been quite intentional/picky with their roster building, and with many 2009s on official visits right now, we'll have to be patient. Wish NCAA Hockey recruiting was covered like football and we'd be informed of the players who've been offered, who is in guys' top 3 or 4, etc. It was quite cool seeing the report that Carter Casey had a top 4 of Minnesota, Wisconsin, Denver, and North Dakota, so then it made it easier to follow the recruitment.

Just as we've seen Michigan State have a full revival over the past 2-3 years, Penn State emerge over the past 6 months, we're now seeing Notre Dame re-emerge over the past couple months since Brock Sheahan has taken over. Fighting Irish will likely be a big time player in more recruiting battles going forward

Correct. If things go extremely well for him, he's a 2-3 year guy, and everyone will take that if he's an outstanding NCAA player earlier on. But likely a 3-4 year guy, we'll see how he does in junior this year in Penticton.

Assuming someone from the Dub. Guys like Carson Carels, Ryan Lin, Landon DuPont, Daxon Rudolph, Mathis Preston, Liam &/or Markus Ruck, Shaeffer Gordon Carroll are all prime targets

Mild deviation from what I expected. Would have thought Sears would have gone to Boston University with Meyer and Pandolfo. Now we await to see if Rocco Pelosi ends up at Boston College as most expect.

The problem with NCAA Hockey not being super popular nationally is that all the newbies who dive in to cover something NCAA related are coming from a very NHL biased/slanted perspective, so you get lists like these that don't make a ton of sense, especially considering that older veterans are quite often more impactful than 18 or 19 year old freshmen.
