Have to think if they win the conference tourney they have great chance at #1 or #2 as MSU and UMich will either lose in their conference title at best or at worst they play each other and the loser drops below us.

I would maybe add UMD to that list. In an ideal situation, two thirds of the NCHC team on that list get in the DU regional and the other gets a different region. I’ve never been a fan of teams playing teams from their own conference in the regionals. Take for example the UND Women’s team. Who’s to say how far they could have gone if they didn’t play #1 Minnesota in the first round during their string of NCAA tourney runs?
