A few thoughts. 1. I think some fans are upset that this wasn’t like the AIC game where we vastly overpowered them. While we do that to Merrimack for maybe the first 10 minutes, we didn’t keep it up as long as we did to AIC. It’s important to address many title teams have a close call or maybe not their best game during the first game of the tourney. 2. Spoons and our d corp shut down most offensive chances. How many times has a team rode a hot goalie or in this case a hot goalie and d corp to a title? Often. If we can shutdown the top scorer in the nation on Saturday, we can likely find ourselves in Vegas baby!! 3. If the ice was poor, hopefully this extra day of prep on the ice can prepare the team for what to do and not do with less than ideal ice. Hope everyone in Sioux Falls are enjoying your trip. Also, hope that it’s not the last trip our fanbase takes this season.

Mankato. I have them defeating WMU. Your a correct to say that DU is a wagon rn and having home ice and the advantage of being used to the elevation makes them big favorites to win their regional. But yet again, they’d have to beat the Albany winner to potentially face us in title game if we get that far. So even if a team in Loveland doesn’t beat them, they aren’t the last “boss they’d have to beat to get to us

Most of the people who picked UND to not win the regional were also people who didn’t get a lot of picks right last year. So we should be good fam. It won’t necessarily be easy, but it’s doable

Commented on two folks posts about UND playing at their home rink. Let them know it’s 4.5 hours away from grand forks lol. I think the east coast folks are used to being able to travel to a new state in minutes since the size of the states on the east side are so small in comparison to states on our side of the country.
