Yes exactly, so when realistic score predictions show to be far different than current spread, it is a likely winner. I don't sports gamble, but it seems the FCS vs FBS games often present obvious high percentage winning opportunities far more often than any other sporting events that I see. Likely due to large numbers of normie college football fans underestimating FCS teams and/or not understanding how small the gap can sometimes get between top FCS teams and FBS teams.
-
With that said, Oregon vs Montana state is at -27.5 and Illinois vs Wester Ill is at -45.5 LOL. Am I crazy thinking I should take all these bets as easy lay up wins.
-
Over/Under is currently sitting at -25.5?! Jesus. Despite a new coaching staff, new defense, and tons of new starters, I think week 1 UND will be a better team than final week UND last year due to morale, leadership and injuries. Guessing they will keep it a decent football game until the 4th and lose by 2 scores or so. Maybe 34-17 or somewhere in that ballpark. I need to find a sports betting app asap. Iowa State vs USD is at -14.5 which sounds more realistic and is what I was expecting for K state and UND. Guessing it will be closer to -20 by game time.

Who says it's not the mentality? The game hasn't even been played yet and you're already asking why we didn't do something? Also, if we're planning to just run it down their throat then why does the QB situation even matter? This is truly getting bizarre my man...what are we even talking about right now And this is coming from a pessimistic frustrated fan. But I can at least say I complain about real things that have really happened
-
Seems like you just want to mad about something TBH. There’s been zero qb announcement, let alone even decent evidence what they’re doing yet. Tom floated the guess of seeing more than 1 QB in game one and some Twitter anon states his guess and here you are just pissed LMAFO.
-
How about we just wait to see what they say Monday? Maybe they did solidify a QB1, we have no idea yet. I’m not going to get worked up about what some Twitter anon is guessing lol

Friends, coworkers and family members who have been touring both UND and cow college campuses over the past year are ALL overwhelmingly commenting how much the UND campus blows CC out of the water. And several of them are CC grads saying this. They are mad about it. Nice to see UND doing some things right and setting up for a successful future. We're already seeing it pay dividends with UND's enrollment numbers which is especially impressive given the national downward trend of college enrollment right now. Anyone have any idea on CC's numbers down south? I keep hearing not good, but no specific numbers or YOY changes to speak of.

I’m surprised Larson left when he had 2 good forwards to skate with another year, and would’ve had ample ice time, PP and PM to boot. Playing in the EDC with that much ice time seems hard to beat especially with a few good players to skate with. Oh well, what do I know lol.
-
This is getting weird. Having zero coverage for about a week now?
-
Looking like another easy 1-2 in the EDC for RR and Central? Out west I really have no idea at this point until we hear more on who has officially left or stayed.
-
I haven't heard of too many early departures yet this year. In fact, I can honestly only think of one that I know of for sure and I'm not quite sure where he went. Bradyn Strom from Legacy. I'm curious to hear the others as well. Someone on here at one point mentioned all of the returning starters from Century were leaving early supposedly. And obviously Mattern I guess but that goes unsaid.

Sooooooo has anyone biked over to Memorial yet to peek at who's running with team1 reps yet?
-
How many TDs would Romfo of had without Bo last year? Healthy or not, I'm thinking he would probably have a worse season this year than last year due to not having that rare outlier player who caught everything and got so wide open so regularly. Start one of the other 2 and see what they can do even is Romfo is the best practice player again this year.
-
Not to throw shade at Tom. But all I know and have heard about fall camp has come through him and him only. No other sources to lean on so far. Say Tom maybe does have a major bias toward Romfo for whatever reason and/or his insight is anecdotal due to only seeing bits and pieces of practice and scrimmages. Maybe in reality, Romfo is in a distant 3rd and is no where near in the mix at this point and we are all talking about it for no reason. I have noticed his last 4-5 daily updates have not mentioned who has been taking 1st team reps and 2nd team reps etc. The last time he did it sounded like Romfo was taking 3rd string reps, and maybe that hasnt changed. Why leave that out, because that alone should tell where they are currently stacking in the coaches minds. The limited comments from Tom in his daily updates matter far less than the team reps order IMO. So with that said, does anyone know who is taking what team reps as of this week? That might wash out all this speculation.

Not to be an armchair coach here, but Bubba had an incredible talent of playing it safe when he obviously should’ve pushed and then was aggressive at the worst possible times, when his conservative nature would’ve finally actually fit. Brutal to watch. It was like he had zero feel for momumtem. Sure, it worked out for him occasionally, but more often it just made him look out of touch and it cost them games they should’ve won. They lost a lot of games where they had better talent across the board but just got flat-out outcoached...especially late in the season.

Has anyone gone to any of their practices recently? Just curious on latest findings outside of just Miller's, although I typically enjoy his updates. Just would be nice to get a few more opinions on the situation as of recent.
-
what are we looking at here? Missed a wide open TD at ISU?
-
I'm not so sure we agree with it either, but that's essentially what the OC was saying to a T.
-
If their planned guy is falling solidly into 3rd, turning it into a 2 man race, then the tie breaker scenario goes away and they have a hard decision to make. If it's a 3 way race with all 3 of them changing 1,2,3 essentially daily, then the tie breaker factor is a little easier for JTJ. Practice studs vs game time studs are always tough to gauge too, especially when only 1 of these 3 really has the evidence at this point.
-
Listening to the OC talking on UND360 yesterday he made it very very clear that a mobile QB is a 100% must in the valley. He noted the success of the teams that have had that type of QB, year in and year out and there is no question that it is the answer to success. Between that strong opinion, and Schmidt brining JTJ with him, it seems they will give him the tie breaker assuming this 3 man race continues.
-
Is JTJ actually that much more mobile than the bunch or is that advantage a smaller gap than advertised? I love the idea of an elusive and game changer electric QB who bails out the offense time after time, even if he has a slightly downgraded arm. But if that gap isn't very big and Kaminski is winning the throwing comp, then it seems like it will be an easy decision. Either way it's awesome that UND seemingly has 2 solid options ahead of the starter from last year who's also still there, and likely better than he was last year himself...which essentially means they have THREE better options than they did at this time last year. That shows growth and progress, and that's exciting.
-
Any confirmation to how close they actually came to colliding?
-
Gotcha, good deal. Sorry about that
-
Is UND Princess a bot or what's happening right now lol
-
I would be fine with that, as that would break the trends of the last 6-8 years. Especially with football, it seemed like they actually somehow got worse as the year went on, and some of the lead players actually seemed to regress through the season and even throughout their career at UND... Hockey didnt necessarily have a clear trend of regressing through the season, but they definitely played poorly when it mattered, especially toward in the post season. I havent followed either team very closely the past 2-3 seasons due to no changes being made and seeing the exact same issues happen over and over again. But this year I'm all in and am going to watch any and every game I can. I'll even be making a trip to GF to watch games for both for the first time in at least 4-5 years. No matter how their seasons go this year, I know for the long term the right choices were made and I want to be there to support it and keep in mind that growing pains are real and understandable, even if it's the first full season or so.
