I agree with this a 100%. And then can we get a high end goalie on campus. Since Adam Scheel we haven’t had a goalie recruit to the caliber of this freshman call. Since Karl is an assistant who is a goalie coach, hopefully he can get a USNTDP or high end Canadian goalie at some point.

Haha…they probably should to take more of money. Won’t be taking that bet anytime soon. Did win Western Michigan ML tonight.

2018-2019 team was really bad. And was a second straight year not making tourney. Senden was a freshman that season and is now a second year captain. Hopefully he can impact this team from a leadership standpoint and turn this around. As frustrating as this season has been, that team was way worse. IMO.

I want to take the under in both games because of Bemedji’s system and always low scoring games against us. But we just gave up 4 goals on 16 shots and our save percentage is under %900 so who knows. But not a good match up next weekend, that’s for sure.

Jake said it in the second period, something along the lines of “hard to be a goalie at UND, they don’t face many shots and also face power plays because of penalties and some break aways because of the defenseman looking to score”. So apparently we should just accept a save percentage below 900.

When the graphic came on tv about being 56th in NCAA in goalie save percentage early in the 2nd period….Jake’s explanation and excuse was one of the worse takes I have heard a commentator make in any sport.

Fun game to watch last night, watched it after I got home from a Casey Donahew concert (awesome show!!) so was the game. I think tonight tells us whether the team has improved or was it the quality of the competition.

I know for a fact 6 figure NIL deals were in play for college baseball players to portal to SEC schools last summer. If that is happening in that niche sport I’m sure it is going on or will start to happen for hockey.

I thought they played good tonight but couldn’t get that 2nd greasy goal after Ness but had a few chances. I think DeRidder may want one of the goals back tonight but he made some big saves. Denver is more skilled and faster. Structurally Sioux had a chance to win because of coaching. But recruiting matters and Denver is currently more talented.
