I"ll be there. I love the games. Hoping to tailgate for a bit, just for old times sake like we did at the Old Memorial Stadium back in the day in snowcat suits, long johns and the benefit of Schnapps.

Tavern is the worst. Will playmakers be closed to non CC members?
Was there before Montana game and I am not a CC member.

Just hypothetical.......Bubba remains HC. Staff same except Kostich goes. Finish 7-4 (best case scenario) next year and SU beats UND by 4 scores and no playoffs. Everyone still on the wagon?
Nope...but I keep Bubba, get rid of OC and SC and move on to see what happens next year. If NO playoffs and a loss to Bison, I'd be off the wagon in that scenario too.

CC will be in playmakers
Me too, as I have NEVER encountered a worse run bar than the Tavern at the Alerus. ONE bartender and maybe 2 barmaids for a bar full of thirsty pre-game fans. It's nuts.

Hamstring injuries are generally related to conditioning. We usually don’t have them because there is a huge focus on hamstring development. Maag is a true fr and hasn’t been in the SC program yet.
Hasn't been in it? Not even this summer and fall camp? Now?

Bubbas loyalty will need a push from the AD. Pretty simple at this point ....option A (changes to his staff) or option B ( complete overhaul)
I understand that exactly what happened to Kelly at Notre Dame.
I'm even wondering about Bubba taking over the DC job or does wearing the HC hat and the DC hat become too much? I know a guy like LIncoln Riley at OK is OC and HC. NO I'm comparing him to a likely NFL coach.

My wish for Early Christmas is a new special teams coach. Also Freund promoted to OC and QB coach. Bring in 2 very good coaches for Special team and WR's.
I have no clue who the go-to Special Teams Coach or WR coach could be, but he must be able to recruit too.

Someone mentioned the other UND coaching situation with Brian Kelly effectively replacing most, if not all, of his staff a couple years ago. It worked there; could work here.
Would hate to see a Cedric Case type recruit have an excuse not to come here, and some of the RS and other recruits as well. We all know how many transferred out after Muss was canned. Hate to see the team lose good players in a coaching regime change.

This is a big part of the problem with the offense. Kett is good for 3 or 4 bonehead plays per game, which can easily turn the game in the wrong direction if they happen at the wrong time. He continues to stare down his primary reciever and telegraph his throws. Zimm should get some game time reps or a half just to see what he can do with the clock running, but the coaching staff keeps the blinders on once a decision has been made.
There's been many times that I've been thankful this team finally has a bona fide QB. He is not perfect, but he's much better than any we've had in the past few years.

Apparently UND sucks on D and O and ST........................shouldn't they be 3-5???
They would be if they had to play anyone but the teams they beat suck. Even if they make the playoffs, they will get killed.
(I don't believe that, just speaking for the "football minds" around here.

You think they are ready to compete for a national championship?? Do you deep down feel und is right there to take home the gold?
Lets hear your thoughts on it ......post it with words not a cartoon pic
Its been way to fu@king long since und has been relevant .....frustrating as hell.
UND just lost to the #5 team in the country by less than a TD and NO ONE here thinks it was a good effort. That could give a casual fan to think maybe, just maybe things are going in the right direction.
For those who want to dump the staff, bear in mind the team has few seniors and an argument could be made that the RS frosh and next year's recruits (Cedric Case especially) look really good. Add to that a nice Soph class and things are looking up.

In the sober light of morning, this is what hit me. Weber is a top 5 team in the country. UND did not have a very good game and lost by 5. UND can't take any games off the rest of the way, but should make the playoffs and make some noise in the playoffs.

Play calling without a doubt!! The talent is there.
Rudy has the talent and it seems as though he doesn’t
you also want to hear the D sucks ....so I will give you a big YES!!!
Und is very very average.
Ok...not trying to argue, but you think there's more talent on O than D?
I think UND is a little above average and I think next year will be more than above average,

The D crapped the bed today and Schmidt was part of that.
And I guess I put more on the D as that is the team's strength and then they have a game like this and I just can't understand it.
What is missing?

Defense was not good, but how many teams win today at all levels of college football possessing the ball for 9 minutes of the second half? It is almost impossible. As bad as the defense was if the offense sustains an 8 minute, 15 play TD drive in the 3rd/4th when we were down 28-23 we probably win the game.
I don't disagree, but is it really just play calling or personnel.
I'm tired of one coach taking the blame and the other is not ever questioned.

I’m sorry if you don’t get it.
Let me help you out.
The O and special teams score 30. If the defense only lets the other team score 29 or some number less than 29 which team wins?
Take your time. No need to hurry your answer.

Lol. Are you able to comprehend English? I mentioned the D as well. Cmon man.
You may have mentioned the D but you blame the O. And special teams and anything but the D.
I could not speak English and could comprehend your views.

Wrong and right. The O scored 12 points ....2tds. Every aspect was bad and unds offense was bad. The O lost the game as well as the D.
Right?
D gives up 450 yards and that's NOT a big deal? It's everyone's fault?
-
So the D gives up 35 points, the O scores 30 with 2 special team TD's and we can't say the game was lost because of the D, but due to bad play calling on the O and poor special teams.
Do I have that right?

Annnd......?
The offense had 33 yards half way through the 2nd qtr. if you’re blaming the D then the offense must of been solid enough to win it. Cmon !?
But YOU only see the O as the problem. The D was out schemed on almost every possession. No way the D should get a pass on this one, but it's ingrained to so many fans' minds that Rudy is the problem that we don't dare question the D. It sucked today.

so your saying that every guy on defense thinks that deion should start ahead of blubauagh...100% of them?
I highly doubt it, but I wouldn't know. I guess I think a HUGE majority would not, but there could be guys close to Blubaugh who think he could do it.

I thought of that same scenario, but if we beat SU, I think we make the playoffs even if we go a game over .500.
