  1. She would be a big asset if healthy.
  2. Has anyone actually checked the performance of our track program across all events? We have a few individuals that are doing very well but overall we are nowhere near as good as other Summit League schools. We are not winning the way it is being represented.
  3. The euphoria over recruiting this week is nice but for people watching Sioux hockey for so many years getting your hopes up too much is a yearly dogma. Getting out of regionals this season would be a sign of progression, outside of that it would be mostly what Berry did. My guess is we will be about the same as last year but hope I am eating crow next spring.
  4. I think we are both correct
  5. Based on the overall performance level of this athletic department the administration are program wreckers. Lots of changes needed at UND right now.
  6. Definitely. State of the art facility can see why it is helping them win more games. And just to think before this was completed the team was planning to meet the president to bring up a lot of complaints in comparison the mens sports.
  7. We don’t know if these recruits are any better than what they are replacing. If you ignore the social media blitz from the new coach it would appear they are not.
  8. Until next year when everyone is complaining about how bad the basketball programs are again.
  9. The daughters might be mad for their father and going about this the wrong way. Is BB really trying to undermine the new staff though?
  10. Men’s basketball either have a coach the is seeing out the clock as has been stated or are trying to bring in kids that can help. The womens program are just signing anyone who will say yes that isn’t a good strategy to get better. I hope I’m wrong but looking at Hutter’s commitments it doesn’t fill you with confidence.
  11. I do not think they will surprise but I hope they do.
  12. That is true. He is overhyping what he is doing and in my opinion setting himself up for failure
  13. Hutter is blowing smoke. Signing anyone and everyone is different than finding the athletes to make a difference. But I do agree that Sather could be running out the clock- or maybe he is interviewing for new positions so doesn’t care.
  14. I’m confused as to how this is a signing to be excited about. Can someone explain?
  15. I really hope it’s not Smaby there must surely be better candidates, and in reality we need more fresh talent than the worn road of UND alums. This program needs an injection of energy and excitement.
  16. I think at some schools the majority of focus is likely on only one or two sports especially those who only prioritize the couple they care about. When Chaves is gone from UND I would expect we see an upturn in performances from our teams.
  17. Looking at soccers records since going Division I they have had a losing record every year except one. It’s a perennially losing program. Cut the program or invest in the facility.
  18. Was he calling them to transfer to a specific program?
  19. I don’t know enough about the grass surface but the facility itself looks dreadful when you drive by it. As I said the high school stadiums in town are better they should play their home games there Or just eliminate soccer altogether nobody would notice.
  20. I agree that could be a big part of it. Up until the title 9 reports in the media I would suspect a lot of people didn’t even know there was a soccer team at und.
  21. The high school setups for soccer are better in this town than what UND has. They would be better playing at Cushman field if UND is too lazy to build them a proper facility IMO.
  22. Is this due to a case of people needing to step up and help more with NIL, or is it more that grand forks is a smaller community and doesn’t have as many donors as colleges in bigger cities?
  23. Do we have any idea how UND’s NIL deals compare to rival hockey programs?
  24. I didn’t know there was only one win in two years. If this is connected to the investigation though it could be an issue for the university. Plus I think it would be hard for a coach to recruit athletes that could win any games when you look at the shocking state of their field. Hopefully one day we are able to discuss winning about any of our teams but right now the whole athletic department is a dumpster fire.
